Please, Forget me Not

CHAPTER 31

“No, I won’t sleep. I’m hot. I want to take a bath. Get out!” I pushed him away and I started undressing in front of him.

“Kaiah, what are you doing?” tarantang tanong niya at agad akong nilapitan para pigilan pero itinulak ko lang ulit siya palayo at hindi nagpatinag.

I removed all my clothes one by one until I was left with nothing. Namumungay ang mga matang tiningnan ko si Zach na mukhang natigilan sa ginawa ko at nakatitig lang sa akin. Maya-maya ay nag-iwas siya ng tingin. Humila siya ng isang roba mula sa kung saan at ibinalot sa aking katawan.

“Why are you covering me? Maliligo nga ako sabi!” bulyaw ko sa kaniya habang sinusubukang tanggalin iyon, pero pinigilan niya ang mga kamay ko at bigla na lang akong binuhat.

“I hope you didn't do this when you were drunk with that Simon guy,” he uttered so low that I wasn’t able to hear it.

“What are you saying?” I asked, but he ignored it.

He carried me towards the bathroom, and the next thing I knew, I was already submerged in the bathtub.

“So refreshing,” I said as I sniffed the lavender scent of the water. I was smiling while playing with the bubbles like a kid.

“Hindi ka pa ba nilalamig? Kanina pa tayo nakababad dito. Baka magkasakit ka. Tama na ang pagbababad. Matulog na tayo, Kaiah,” rinig kong sabi ni Zach na siyang nasa tabi ko rin at nakababad sa tub dahil sa pamimilit ko kanina pero umiling ako.

He just sighed and stayed quiet for a moment before opening his mouth again. “Are you sober now?” Nahihiya akong ngumiti bago tumango. “I will never let you get drunk like you were a while ago again. You were so stubborn.”

I looked at him over my shoulder. “Are you scolding me?”

“Yes, I am,” he said, nodding.

“You don’t love me anymore?”

“Of course, I love you. I’m just saying that you’re so stubborn when you’re drunk.” Humarap na ako sa kaniya nang tuluyan.

“I’m sorry if you had a hard time dealing with me,” I said before leaning towards giving him a peck. “Hinayaan ko lang namang malasing ako dahil alam kong andiyan ka para alagaan ako, e. Don’t get mad at me, okay? I love you,” I added, and gave him another kiss on the other side of his cheek.

“How can I get mad when you’re this cute?” He pinched my cheeks, which made me frown.

“Don’t do that, I’m not a kid anymore. I’m a grown-up woman now.” I showed him my hand. “Look, I have a ring because I will get married soon. Oh! you’re invited, by the way.”

“Invited?” He raised his brow.

“Yeah.” I nodded my head before smiling at him. “You’re invited to be my groom,” I giggled.

“Here we go again with your punchlines,” pigil ang ngiting aniya.

“You’re blushing, kinikilig ka ‘no?” Turo ko sa pisngi niya. He shook his head before he looked away. I scooted towards him and tried to make him look at me again.

“Zach… Look at me,” I said as I cupped his face. “Why are you looking away, huh? Ayaw mo na lang aminin na hanggang ngayon, kinikilig ka pa rin sa mga banat ko.”

“Okay, I will not deny it. Even though we’ve been together for over a year, you still have the same effect on me.” Napangiti ako sa sinabi niya.

“Same here…” Mas lumapit ako sa kaniya at muling hinaplos ang mukha niya. “Minsan nga sumasagi pa rin sa isip ko na baka panaginip lang ang lahat ng ito. Sometimes... I still can't believe I'm the only person who can be this close to you,” pag-amin ko habang isa-isang pinapadaanan ng haplos ang bawat parte ng perpekto niyang mukha. “The only girl who can touch you like this…” Bumaba ang tingin ko sa mga labi niyang medyo basa at nakaawang.

I looked up again and met his eyes that were staring intently at me. “And the only one who can kiss you like this.” I closed the small distance between our faces, still lost in his hazel eyes. As my lips touched Zach’s, I felt his sharp intake of breath. I could taste the faint hint of mint and alcohol on his tongue as he opened his mouth and kissed me back.

He pulled back a little, and planted a small kiss on his lips, “Kaiah,” he breathed, and brought his mouth back to mine, his tongue sliding in once more. He guided his hand to my face, cupping my flushed cheeks before both of his hands went to my hips.

Zach pulled me by my hips closer to him, never breaking the kiss. Unsure of what to do with my hands, I put them against his chest as I straddled him. His skin was hot and his chest was moving up and down from his rapid breathing. The second our bodies touch, my stomach begins to stir. My entire body feels like it's been ignited, and I have never felt like this before. It started as a simple and gentle kiss, but I feel it warmed my entire body. With the heat spreading like a wildfire in every corner of my body, I know I wouldn’t be satisfied with just a kiss.

My mind is no longer in charge as the sensation has taken over every fiber of me. Soaking in this bathtub has sobered me up from too much alcohol. But now, his kisses were intoxicating me again. My body began gently rocking back and forth on his lap, but he gripped my waist to stop me from moving.

“F*ck,” he breathed into my mouth and I felt a sensation I had never felt before as I felt him harden against me. That contact turned something on, deep inside of me. How far will I let this go?

Lost in the tension that was slowly building up between us, I didn’t even realize that we were now under the shower head until I felt the cold water running from my head down to my body. Since when did he carry us here? Bakit hindi ko naramdaman na tumayo siya at naglakad? Was I too oblivious a while ago?

Nang naramdaman kong tumigil na ang pag-agos ng tubig mula sa shower, humiwalay ako sa mga labi niya. I looked into his eyes, they were much darker yet softer and his lips were a deeper pink and swollen from kissing me.

“Zach, make love to me…” I didn’t recognize my voice. It was low and husky, and my mouth was incredibly dry.

“Are you—” I cut him off. Seeing the hesitation in his eyes, I knew what he was going to say.

“Yes, I am sure,” I told him.

“Kaiah…”

“Shhh…” I put my index finger on his lips. I want this more than anything, and I don’t want him to keep talking. He stared at me for a few seconds. When he saw that I wouldn’t take no as an answer, he devoured my lips again.

He then pressed his body against mine, pinning me to the wall. Both of our breaths are rapid and uncontrolled and I have never wanted him more. Unti-unting bumaba ang kaniyang mga halik sa aking panga, patungo sa leeg, hanggang umabot iyon sa aking balikat. I tilted my head back, giving him better access as he nuzzled his head on my neck, planting a small kiss there, then slowly bringing his lips back up.

I felt his hands start wandering around my nakedness. I felt shivers run down my spine as his hands cupped my breast. I suddenly felt a knot in the pit of my stomach because of the way he was touching every inch of me. It feels like he’s worshiping my whole body.

“Let’s move to your bed…” I buried my fingers into his hair, gently tugging at it while he walked back towards my bed, his lips still molded against mine. Marahan niya akong ibinaba sa kama at pinutol ang halik.

He pushed the wet strands of my hair off my face. “Are you sure about this, Kaiah?” he gently asked.

“Yes, without a doubt,” determinadong sagot ko.

“But…”

“But what?” I asked, a little impatient this time. Is he buying more time on purpose?

“I don’t have condoms…”

“Do you love me?” I asked. Kumunot ang noo niya sa tanong ko pero tumango naman siya. “You won’t leave me after this, right?”

“Of course, why are you even asking me that?”

“Then, that’s enough. Let’s make love without using protection.”

“What if I get you pregnant?”

“Zach, don’t overthink it, okay? Kapag may nabuo tayo, then that’s great. I want to have a child with you, anyway. Mapapaaga nga lang kaysa sa plano natin, pero okay lang. So please, stop talking now. I can’t wait any longer. I want you...” I begged. He sighed before leaning down to kiss me. After a few seconds, he climbs off the bed.

God, this is really happening. I know I should be afraid or nervous, but all I feel is my love for him and his love for me. The anticipation of what was coming next filled me, and the time seemed to slow down while I waited for him to return to bed. The heat in my body is slowly burning out the longer Zach’s touch is not on me.

He was removing his remaining clothes. I was just staring into his eyes, and I didn’t dare look down there. I might back away if I saw it. My pulse sped up as he looked at my already naked body up and down one more time before joining me back on the bed. I have never been this exposed to anyone before. The way he looked at me alone drives me crazy, my hormones are out of control. I wonder if he will be gentle with me.

“Are yo—”

“If you ask me again if I’m sure, I will surely kill you.” I glared at him when he laughed.

“Okay, hindi na...” aniya at unti-unting ibinaba ang mukha para halikan ako. He kissed me slowly and gently on my lips down my jaw.

“It’s going to hurt… just tell me if you want me to stop, okay?” he said in a gentle voice. I nodded my head.

He kissed me again as he lowered himself into me. I can already feel his member brushing against me, causing me to shudder. Seconds later, little by little, Zach pushed himself inside me, letting me feel every inch of him as he entered me slowly. My eyes screwed shut as I heard myself gasp. It was such a foreign feeling.

“You okay?” nag-aalala na tanong niya na siyang tinanguan ko naman. I winced at the pinching feeling deep inside as he moved further into me. Hindi siya gumalaw ng ilang sandali nang tuluyang makapasok, giving me time to adjust.

“Can I move?” he asked like he was afraid to hurt me.

“Yes…” I answered. The pain continued, but Zach showered me kisses all over my face.

“I love you so much, Kaiah…” He whispered and kissed the tears forming at the corner of my eyes. The comfort of his voice eased my pain slightly, but it didn’t go away as he thrust inside me. I dug my nails deeper into his back because of the pain.

I want to tell him how much I love him too, but I’m afraid if I talk, I will cry.

“Do you… do you want me to stop?” I could sense the worry in his voice.

“No,” I said, shaking my head. I have no idea how much time passed before he moved again. The discomfort eased dramatically the more he moved in and out of me. He brushed my cheekbone with his fingers and kissed me again before burying his head in the crook of my neck, sucking the sensitive spot there. Sigurado akong may marka na naman iyon bukas.

I hardly pulled his hair, earning a moan from him. The sound made me moan in response, it was the hottest sound I have ever heard, and I want to do anything I can to hear it again.

It doesn’t hurt anymore, but there is still a slight sting each time he thrusts into me. I kept my eyes open to watch Zach as a bead of sweat rolled down his forehead.

“I… I love you, Zach,” I managed to say. He groaned and brought his lips to mine. Minutes later, the pain was now replaced with pleasure as he moved at a faster pace. He kissed me the entire time as our bodies synchronized perfectly.

I felt my stomach tightening and he whispered how much he loved me as we both tensed. Our moans intertwined along with our bodies as we finished. He gently fell onto me. I can feel the rapid beating of his heart against my chest. His breath is staggering, hot, and wild against my neck. We stayed in that position for a few minutes before he climbed off me and laid beside me, covering us with my comforter.

“Are you okay?” His eyes searched my face as he pulled me closer to cuddle me. He smelled so good, even though he was sweaty.

“I’m okay.” I smiled at him to assure him. He sighed before leaning in to kiss me on my forehead.
