“A-anak, about the n-news w-,” I didn’t let my mom finish her sentence.
“I knew that it was true so please don’t lie to me just to protect my feelings because it’s not helping at all.”
“Y-you what?!” She sat on the edge of my bed, we are here in my room.
“Alam ko na, dati pa.” I said without giving her a glance, I was just staring at the ceiling.
