The Guild and the Master

Azan POV

I look around the Kingdom to look for the Guild Hall, I want to talk to this Inhuman Warrior that is named, Naomi, based on the name, it must be a girl, Kado and the others must've thought she was a guy since a girl can't be that strong.

Some of the girl players in the game are one of the veterans and level 99 as well, since they're not as resilient as male ones, I can beat them through skills alone, no matter how many male players she might have.

I saw the building with the Guild named in it, it's the Guild Hall.

I understand that word since the words here are just reversed words in my world.

I entered the building and saw so many adventurers, they all look strong and powerful, but since I exist, I'm way stronger than these people.

I walked to the counter and talk to the receptionist.

"Hello, Welcome to the Guild Association, I'm the Assistant Officer, Anny, How can I help you, Sir?" She greeted.

So it is called Guild Association, and they have different roles here like, the counter or accountant is an Assistant Officer instead of a receptionist.

"I wanna register as an Adventurer here," I said.

"Look at that guy, he looks like a rich guy, let's tag him.

"A typical rich kid"

"He's Equipment looks awesome."

Even though I'm new here, I am already faced with Envious people and bullying.

Then someone grabbed my shoulder.

"Hey, there kid! Wanna join my party!" He said trying to intimidate me, he doesn't look strong, since I don't feel his grasp on my shoulders.

I then flicked his arm off my shoulders then faced him.

"Huh?"

"I don't wanna party with drunken warriors, you looked like you just need me for more than that," I said trying to intimidate him instead.

"You bastard I'm a high-ranked here you a*s!" He said and tried punching me.

I then dodged it and returned the punch using his momentum thrashing him out of the Guild.

"Woah, I thought he's a high-ranking warrior, why'd he fly off? " I said to myself.

I don't want to be bullied here on my first day, so I should continue my registration, I should be placed in either A rank or maybe B rank would be more useful.

Since I can't stand out any more than what I just did to that guy, I hope he doesn't come back for revenge, that's such a stereotype, and annoying.

"I would like to continue my registration," I said.

"O-Ok!" She said hesitating.

"Please fill up this form, and after that place your hand in this crystal." She instructed.

This looks like normal biodata, but lesser.

I then wrote everything, Inscription must be the address.

"Can I ask something?" I said.

"Yes?"

"I wanna know what the name of the forest that is outside here from the west?"

"Oh, that's the Forest Domania, It is named after the last King as he saved that forest back in the day."

"Thanks."

I just have to write down, Center of Forest Domania, since that's where I came from, and Nation must be the continent I'm in?

What do you call the people who lived here in Axuuhh?

I looked around and saw some of the Guild jobs posted on the wall to the right, I saw writing.

“Axis Nobles Vanguard. ”

Axuuhh is the continent and Axis is the people who lived in it, that's good to know.

The born is what I'm in trouble with, if I asked what date is, I'll be suspicious.

I looked around and saw a calendar, it's Mars, which is I think is March? And the year is 201, and there are 27 days a month, this is easy.

I forgot if everyone here has the last name, since it is a medieval era, I think there are none, but...

"What's your full name, Ms. Anny? " I asked her.

"I'm Annithy Sellega," she answered.

So they have last names here.

I then gave her the form.

"Oh, so it's your birthday, Sir Azeed?" She asked.

So it is Mars 17 now, it's kinda marked on the calendar.

"Y-Yeah!" I said awkwardly.

"Happy Birthday, Sir Azeed, for that, I'll make your registration free!" She offered.

There's a payment?

"Why, thank you, Ms. Anny!" I thanked.

"And you are a noble as well? I haven't heard of Anima Name before, are you a small family?" she asked.

So only nobles have last names, just as I thought.

"We are, but since we are self-sustained, we're kinda hidden away," I said.

"Right, you live in Forest Domania. "

"Alright, please place your hand onto the Crystal to determine your level and class." She said.

I then placed my hand on the Crystal.

It shone so brightly, that even the Assistant, had to cover her eyes, but I didn't have any problems.

*crackle*

Then it emits a lot of energy and lightning.

*cracked* *BOOOM!!*

The crystal shatters, is my level too high that it destroyed the detecting crystal?

"How?" Anny asked.

"I.. Umm.."

"You there, mind if we have a chat?" someone behind me asked me.

I looked around and saw a lady wearing a mage dress.

"No way."

"It's the Mage Priest."

"Good morning Guild Master!" Anny greeted.

"Hello, Anny, would you mind if you make him an S-ranked Adventurer, he has a sword, so just class him as a Swordsman?" The Mage Priest requested.

Wow, what an authority, there goes my plan to not stand out too much, she's the Naomi that the trio told me about.

"O-Ok understood!" Anny responded.

"Gee, thanks, now I have no choice but to accept your request," I said.

"No problem, my name is Naomi, I'm the Guild Master." She introduced.

She looks like a 25 years old lady, and she talks more maturely, and to top it all that, she has an aura of 500 Mages.

Then again, I can defeat almost 500 mages, without even breaking a sweat, without using any of my mana.

"I'm Azeed, it's a pleasure to meet you," I said.

We then shake hands, she is as tall as me, and her hand is rougher and has more callouses than mine, she is more experienced in combat than me.

And she's fairly beautiful too, like 30 years old pretty.

Then again she is an Inhuman Warrior, better be careful.

"How about we talk to my office, please follow me." She said.

"Alright, lead the way, Ma'am," I said.

She then walked up, climb the stairs, and arrived at the office that is named after her.

She then led me to sit on the sofa she has, and close the door.

"Take a seat."

I then sat on it, it's a pretty normal sofa.

"I'm sure you've heard about me, I'm one of the Inhuman Warriors." She said.

That's quick, straight to the point.

"Yep, and I have not met a lady who emits such an immense aura before," I said.

Well, there is one that I know, but I'm not sure about that.

"And I've never met an adventurer who broke a Magic Detection Crystal with his touch before either." She said.

I have to ask, I need to know, if she is then I could ask her something about how she got here.

"Are you from the Earth world?" I asked.

"I knew you would ask that, but sadly not," she answered.

Bummer, I thought she is, I would be interested in joining an alliance with her if she is, it's good to have a company that is the same world as you, they are good to hang out with.

"You are the second to ask me that this decade since I know someone who came from that world, he is an Inhuman Warrior as well." She said.

Is she telling the truth?

"What do you mean? Who is this person? Where is he?" I asked.

And what does she mean I'm the second to ask that this decade; she knows that word? and does that mean she is close friends with this person?

"You have too many questions, Sir Azeed, you should know yourself that all things aren't achieved for free." She said.

"Did you know your level is at an Inhuman level as well?" She asked.

"I am well aware, that's why I came to find you since I thought you are from that world," I said.

"If you want to know who and where this Inhuman Warrior is, that is from the same world as you, you have to achieve something." She said.

"And what is it that I need to do?" I asked, even though I know the answer.

"Work for me in these Kingdom, I'm once a Hero here before, and that's how I got my position as the Guild Master of the Kingdom, and now it's your time to be a hero here."

"But since the title Hero is a worldly title, you could start by being a Knight," she explained.

That's good info.

"That is tempting, but I'm not doing that," I said.

"What?" She asked, shocked about my response.

"Being a hero isn't an achievement, but a job, and it's a pretty tiring task since you said that it is hard to achieve it unless you became a Knight as well," I said.

I want to quickly find them, the people who came from my world as well, meet them, I could find a way to find them faster than doing this Hero job, I can't accept her offer.

"Then, show me what you're capable of." She said.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"It is easy to find them from others than take it from me since there's a lot of people that know them other than myself, but the problem here, is their basis are half true, since they haven't met them, while I do, and I've fought side by side with them as well." She said.

"The War against Inhuman Warriors."

"Indeed."

So this could either be, I will gather more info and waste more time since I will gather half-baked pieces of information, while she already has the info confirmed.

"So what's it gonna be, Sir Azeed." She asked.

"What's it gonna be? " she asked.

"That's easy."

I can't accept her offer, since my first plan here is to not stick out more than what she did, and I don't want to be a Hero, that's pretty embarrassing, I don't want to be put up in a forefront of everyone's minds.

"I'm really sorry since I am bothered about being a Hero, so I'll just have to bear with this and do this myself," I said.

"If that's your answer then, I can still wait for you to change your mind, since this is where I work, just call for a meeting, and I'll be able to meet up with you, I am a busy woman so we should wrap this up quickly." She said.

Well, I'll have to come by here more often since I'm a registered Adventurer.

"Then our chat will end here, I'll see you later, Guild Master Naomi," I said and left.

"I hope your search is a success, Sir Azeed." She left a message.

I need to be formal to her since I don't want to anger her and cause wild destruction, even if I can stop her, the collateral damage will still be severe.

I left the building and looked around the Kingdom for a while.

I will have to gather more info about all the other 6 Inhuman Warriors since the rumor has strong evidence, because I've met Naomi, and she's the strongest of all of them.

And the easy place for me to gather info is the Inn.

It took me an hour of strolling just to find the main Inn, all the other Inns are small and the people around here told me that the main Inn is as big as the Guild.

But first, my interest is piqued when I saw the weapon shop while strolling.

I entered the shop and saw a lot of weapons, armor, and miscellaneous items like rings and gauntlets.

"Hello, Welcome to our shop!" The worker greeted me, and I think he was the owner.

I look round the place and see if I like something, hmm...

That's a good set effect, but it looks like the other set piece is not in this shop.

"I wanna buy this, how much?" I asked.

Luckily the coins in the game and here are the same, which means I'm richer than most of the people here, possibly the entire world if I'm lucky.

"It's 10 gold coins, Sir, and as a bonus for you Sir, here's the other set piece." He offered.

Is it at a higher price? That's why he's offering me the other set-piece?

So it is the set-piece.

I have this skill called, Detection, which scans an aura of a person and their level, the data, and the magic level of an attack or item effect.

And this seems to be legit, this shop is honest and honorable, I will be a customer here.

"Thanks for your patronage!" The owner said.

"I'll be here for a while since I'm an Adventurer, let me know if you have a new item in-store."

"Yes, may I have your name Sir?" he asked.

"I'm Azeed." I showed him my Adventurers Card.

"You're an S rank?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"Well then, Sir, my name is Den, I'll let you know if we have a new stock."

I then left the store after that small chat, I just have to find the other set piece.

I'm more of a collector myself, my inventory is proof of that, I have a lot of weapons, armors and miscellaneous stuff, and Scrolls of skills.

"Don't you dare do anything funny?!" I heard from the shop.

Robbery?

"Please, don't do this, I've been losing a lot of my earnings!!"

"Us Adventurers save your citizen asses and this is how you pay us!"

Now that I witnessed this, I have to stop him, this guy is using the Adventurers name, I'm gonna have to report this since this is wrong in a lot of ways.

"Looks like you've picked the wrong a*s to rob," I said to the robber while grabbing his shoulder.

"Huh, who the hell are you? " he asked.

He flicked my arm and pulled a punch at me.

I then grabbed his arm and threw him out of the shop.

I left the shop and was about to teach this guy some adventurer's manners, but I saw Naomi coming from the left, I think she's about to go in the shop.

"My My, What do we have here?" she said with a smug face.

"Ms. Mage Priest, he attacked me while I'm shopping! " this guy!

"I have met many people over the past few years of my life as the Mage Priest, and I know a liar when I see one," she said to the adventurer, kinda disappointed at him.

I then explained everything in the Guild Association about what happened, with the shop owner, Den to testify, the robber tried his best to lie, but he was caught unhanded anyways.

The adventurer was stripped out of his adventurer card and was imprisoned with 2 cases of robbery for 10 years, 5 years for each crime, and eternal imprisonment for killing.

After the case ended Naomi walked up to me.

"I'm sorry about that, I don't know that my Adventurers are acting like this, I will have to be more strict to them."

"Now that's out of the way, I will now leave now," I said and left.

"You sure you haven't changed your mind yet?" she asked.

"I can never change my mind, not ever, not will, I do things my way," I said trying to sound cool.

"You will be a Hero, whether you work for me or not, I see it," Naomi said.

Is she a prophet or something?

Me a Hero? It's not that I don't like the sound of it, but it's a lot of work, and I want to be a carefree guy, and travel this new world at a moderate pace.

In my own way, and my own path.
