CHAPTER 2

Tumayo naman siya at tinulungan niya akong tumayo.

"If anyone dares to hurt Ms. Morgan Melric over here, you have to go through me!" sabi niya habang kayakap ako, what is he saying? I thought he didn't want everyone on the school to know we're in a some-kind-of relationship.

But I'm glad he came to save me........

Nanlaki ang aking mga mata sa sinabi niya habang lahat ng mga nanonood sa amin ay nakabuka ang bibig pati narin si Lynn at mga kasamahan niya.

Then he suddenly picked me up in bridal style and walked away from them, "W-what the hell are you doing?!" ani ko sakanya.

"We're going at the clinic"

"I can walk! Put me down!"

"I don't care just shut up and let me carry you!" pagalit niyang sinabi, namula naman ang pisngi ko dahil sa hiya. Bakit nya kaya ginagawa ito sa akin sa harap ng ibang tao? Ang lakas naman ng loob nya, pero ako hindi!

Nilagyan ako ng bandage sa pisngi kung saan ako sinampal ni Lynn ng nurse, "Tapos napo Ms. Melric, wag nyo nalang po galaw-galawin ito" sabi ng nurse at iniwan kami sa loob ng clinic.

Sinubukan kong hawakan ito pero biglang sumakit, "Diba sabi ng nurse wag mong gagalawin?!" bigla akong pinagalitan ni Xamier.

I just sighed and look at the opposite side of the room, that's how I usually do to start a conversation with an opposite s*x.

"Why....the f**k did you do that?" narinig ko na parang nagulat si Xamier sa sinabi ko, dahil hindi niya pa ata ako naririnig na magmura.

"Why the f**k did you do that? Now some bitches in our school will make an issue about us..." ani ko na may diin sa aking boses.

"And you also broke our f*****g agreement, I thought you're the one who's gonna keep it the most because you're the one who made the agreement..." sabi ko at tumingin sakanya.

"Well, sorry about thr agreement but...I can't just watch someone got hurt without me doing anything because of a stupid agreement..." I was shocked, ang first impression ko sakanya ay isang cold and asshole gangster na nababasa ko sa mga books but he's different, he's soft in the inside and cold on the outside.

Natawa naman ako sa iniisip ko, "Why?" tanong niya sa akin.

"Nothing, it's just you're different than I expected from a cold looking gangster" sabi ko nang natatawa pa ako.

"So you thought of me as a handsome man?" napatigil naman ako dito at tinignan sya.

"Okay then, let's make another agreement" ani niya habang nakangiti, yung ngiting puro at parang walang binabalak.

"What agreement...?" tanong ko at bigla niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko at idinikit sa dibdib niya.

"Let's make an agreement for whoever falls in love with each other loses" ani niya at biglang namula ang aking pisngi dito.

"What the hell are you saying? I will not join you on this nonsense!" I said but he held my hand tighter.

"C'mon, it'll be fun!" he said, kumikinang naman ang kanyang ngiti, ang cold niyang tignan pero kapag tumawa sya para syang batang nakakain ng ice cream for the first time.

"Ugh, fine, since I don't wanna ruin the mode. It's an agreement for me..." I said as I heard him giggle while I look away from him.

"Morgan!" rinig kong sigaw ng isang pamilyar na boses at inalis ko agad ang kamay ko sa pagkakahawak ni Xamier.

Biglang bumukas ang de-slide na pinto ng clinic at nakita ko si Lumiere na hinihingal.

"Morgan okay ka- WAHH! BAT ANDITO SI XAMIER?!" bigla syang tumingin kay Xamier, I just sighed.

Niyakap naman ako ni Lumiere ng sobrang higpit, "Pasensya na wala ako doon Morgan! Kung andoon ako hindi ka pagtitripan nila Lynn!" ani niya habang ngumuguwa at nakayakap sa akin.

Lumiere and mine's friendship is sk unexpected and bizarre. Our parents our friends and childhood rivals with good terms, and we're forced by both of our parent's to get along she clings to me all day and make me comfortable to her more. Sometimes forced and unexpected relationships are the best.

"It's okay Lumiere, buti nalang andoon si Xamier" ani ko at tumigil sya sa pagnguwa niya.

"Maraming salamat Xamier, kala ko parati kang cold pero may soft side karin pala!" pasasalamat ni Lumiere para sakanya.

"At tsaka nga pala...Nagkakaroon na ng issue tungkol sa inyo, pwede nyo bang sabihin sa akin?" biglang sabi ni Lumiere, nag-eye contact naman kami ni Xamier at umoo lamang ako, we can trust her.

"Buti nalang hindi ako iniinvolve ni mama tsaka papa sa isang arrange marriage..." ang tanging sinabi lamang sa amin ni Lumiere.

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me!" sabi niya with a reassuring smile.

Naguwian na kami at kasabay ko si Lumiere na naka-cling sa akin. "Can you stop clinging to me?"

"You'll never know, maybe that b***h will come back again" sabi ni Lumiere habang tumitingin sa paligid, and I just sighed.

I've seen too many stupid childish s**t this day, and I want to just take a rest at my comfy bed.

I checked my phone to text when will Manong Jeff arrive.

"Your driver won't come" nakita ko si Xamier na bigla nalang sumulpot sa likuran ko. "Geez, that scared me a bit" ani ko.

"You'll be going with me again, Morgan" I just cannot believe it, I thought it's just once!

"Well, have fun riding my care is here, bye!" ani ni Lumiere habang masayang kumaway sa amin, I just sighed.

Nakita ko ang black van nila Xamier at pumasok ako dito at sumunod siya.

Binaba niya ako sa gate ng aming mansion, "Xamier, don't tell your parents or mine about what happened!"

"Don't worry, I don't intend to. But, you need to remember our agreement" he said as I sighed and nodded at what he said.

I tried to sneak to my bedroom and avoid having a conversation to either mom or dad tonight, I just wanna lay at my bed.

"I've heard the news, sweetie" I heard my mom, I looked at her and she's wearing a white night gown, had a towel at her head and has green pastes on her face.

I held my chest and sighed relieved, "I thought it's a ghost, it's just you mom"

"Where did you get that band-aid?" I held my cheek that has a band-aid and sigh.

"May mga inget lang kasing babae sa akin, wala naman akong ginagawa"

"Did you fight back?" she asked, why do she need to ask that?

"Of course I don't, I'm more humble than she is" I saw her sighed.

"Someday, you're going to start to fight for yourself and don't rely on others to fight for you" ani niya at humigop sa kapeng hawak-hawak niya.

Umakyat naman ako pagkatapos at tumingin sa labas ng bintana ko.

Was I've been always relying on Lumiere to fight for me...? Does that mean I'm just using her?.........
