"Shh wag kang maingay!" I changed my sleeping position habang nakahiga pa rin at pinipilit pang matulog. Naalimpungatan na ako dahil wala ng ulan at rinig na rinig ko na ulit yung mga ingay, even the faint noises.
"Luh bakit ako? Siya kaya 'yon" i heard another person. It seems that they're arguing about something. I heard something click, I tried to open my eyes a little just to sneak a peek. May sinisindihan na silang cake! I admit I got excited so I bit my lower lip subtly to stifle a smile. Tumagilid ako, facing the right side kung nasaan 'ang pintuan ng kwarto ko.
Until I felt a hot air coming to my face. I opened my eyes and pretended that i just woke up, rubbed my eyes at kunwari pang nasurprise sa cake na nasa harap ko. And there, they started to sing a birthday song. Pinakamalakas na boses ay yung kay Aia, she's holding the cake while Syrus was recording the moment with her phone.
Napabalikwas ako ng upo when i saw Kent standing behind Syrus, i touched my face to check if i still have drool or eye boogers sa eye corners ko. I licked my lip, totoo na yung pagkakagulat ko this time.
Why is he here? He should be at home, it's fcking pouring---hindi ko naman maalalang pinapunta ko siya dito!
When they finished the song, they asked me to blow the candle and wish. So I did.
"Bakit... bakit ka nandito?" Nag ba buff pa yung brain ko.
Taray, parang jetlag.
"uh... Happy birthday?" he greeted me. finally.
Napalingon sila kay Kent, he just smiled playfully.
"Sy?" i asked with my eyes, nakakaooffend naman siguro para kay Kent kung malalaman niyang pinagpustahan namin siya kanina...
She raised her hands up in the air as if she’s surrendering "inosente, ser" my brows suddenly furrowed.
"i invited him over, since he's your friend... sabi mo" napalingon na lang ako kay Aia nang bigla siyang magsalita.
Dumiretso na kami sa sala, nagorder din pala sila ng Doloras. Sana hindi na, kakain rin naman sa Bahay, e. Pero kumain pa rin ako since i didn't had lunch, breakfast lang yung sa cafeteria kanina.
Parang may nag appear na light bulb sa ulo ko when i suddenly remembered something.
I rushed to my room at hinanap ang bag ko. Agad ko namang nakita because the bag was just small. It also doesn't have a lot of pockets.
I enthusiastically handed it over to him.
"Akala ko ba ikaw 'yung may Birthday. Ba't ako 'yung may regalo?" he chuckled. when i passed by the mall earlier naisipan kong bumili ng mga unnecessary things and i ended up in the candle stuffs section so i thought maybe i could give this to him. It was just a simple scented candle. actually they said it could help in sleeping better.
"Kunin mo na lang! Just think of it as a congratulatory gift." I giggled.
He gazed at me before taking off the staples that used to close the small paper bag.
He scoffed when he saw the inside.
"Pffft, anong gagawin ko dito?" His laugh made me smile wider.

"sindihan mo? titigan? magsunog--fck no, bad joke, sorry kagigising ko pa lang kasi. my brain--- i-it's---it's a complete mess!" i forced my eyes to close as if i'm resetting my mind
"thank you.." I saw Syrus whispering something at my sister who's Currently washing the dishes.
Kinuha ko yung throw pillow at ibinato kay sy, she dodged it though. Now I know why it's called throw-pillow.
"Shut up, wiki!" I teased her, I'm sure binibigyan na naman niya ng meaning yung binili ko for Kent! "Nag-uusap lang naman kami, ah?"
"Asteria, may defensive! Guilty yata" they hysterically laughed! I just rolled my eyes.
"Huh?" Kent seemed rather clueless.
I made a face, "nothing" I turned my back against him. Kent thanked me, at bahagyang itinaas pa yung paper bag.
I was on my way to my room para maligo, pupunta kasi kami sa bahay, my mom held a dinner. But, may naalala nanaman ako! Ugh, yun ba ang nagagawa ng tulog sa 'kin?
"Kent," i called him habang nakahawak ang isang kamay ko sa frame ng pinto ng kwarto ko.
He raised his brows and paused the tv, nag nenetflix.
"Can you call manong? Tell him to come over, kamo birthday ko. There's dinner... thanks" he nodded and took his phone.
"No problem, basta ikaw" ayan na naman siya. Napasinghap na lang ako ng hangin habang lumingon palayo. I immediately turned my back against him dahil alam kong namumula na naman ako!
Why is he like that?! Napaka insensitive sa mga sinasabi niya. Little did he know na illegal yung bigla bigla nalang nagsasabi ng mga words na gano'n! Joke.
I took a quick shower tapos nag toothbrush, skincare then did my powder, blush,tint, i just brushed my brows. It's already thick, though.
I didn't make so much effort on picking my OOTD. I just wore a white tie front short sleeve cropped top polo tapos black high waist pair of shorts tsaka sneakers. I also wore a pair of small hoop earrings
"Hi, kuya Ronel" bati ko sa driver namin.
"Magandang Gabi ma'am. Maligayang kaarawan po"
Sumakay na kami sa Van na pinadala ni Mom
"Naks, wala pa man din meeting the parents na agad" Sy whispered. sinadya niyang iparinig sa akin kasi she leaned closer to me
