Ice's Point of View
I entered Calli's private room, and she was still in a deep slumber. It had been an agonizing day since her accident, and her awakening seemed elusive.
I couldn't help but wonder if this was normal, although the doctor assured me that Calli had no major issues. They merely needed to conduct a CT scan and an MRI to ensure there were no hidden complications, particularly due to her head injury.
"Please wake up now, Calli. I miss you already," I murmured, my fingers delicately caressing her hair. Earlier, I had rushed home to gather a few of our belongings.
