Ever since, Alice didn't believe that there were vampires and werewolves living in this world, not until she reached her 18th birthday. She lives and grows a normal life in the city of humans with her grandmother. For the vampire community, she was given another opportunity to enter the strange realm. Being a vampire is not so easy, but because she was in love with humans. She was able to adjust to everything, even though it was difficult for her to hide her true colors, that is being half as a human-vampire mixed with blood of wolf. Her father, Don Francisco is a vampire and her mother Sonya Solidad is a human-wolf in short, she is "Half-breed" of mixed blood. But who is she now? All Alice knows is for what brings her life she has on earth. In the human world, she is a young business woman for all brands of luxury cars here in the Philippines. Her company sold thousands of pesos as a first down payment per unit. She is the one who manages the 10 branches nationwide, the CACHO company that she inherited from her parents. While she was busy from the outside, the immortal world she has, is a secret place to hide. But like many things, not everything remains a secret for Alice. Good Friday night. Alice became a pure vampire because of her father, she was sacrificed to the goddess of the full moon and made to drink blood, for the very first time. That was her 18th birthday. The remarkable time of her life. This is not the life she chose. And this is definitely not the way she thought to prolong her life. This bad evening; Alice walked into her mothers room with long precise strides. She was wearing a cape with a hood over her head. Her black hair was tied tightly to the back and her Lips were covered beautifully with red lipstick. She was in 5'2 in height and white, not like a fairy tale princess, but she had a naturally beautiful oval face. In her appearance, you can't judge her like a Japanese witch. Her mother was the werewolf priestess, a powerful sorceress. If there was anything known to the werewolf community it was that people didn't see the priestess until something was really wrong and not even her. Alice is far beyond this belief. Though, Alice was so busy from the outside world. That's the reason why she often forgot to visit her own mother. Alice invaded the lights as she walked up going to her mother's room. She didn't want anyone to see her, and assume that something was wrong, which it was. But the pack already had enough to deal with, and the last thing she wanted to add to the list was fear. She looked left and right before climbing up the final stairs which led to her mothers chambers on the other side of the pack house far away from everybody else. She knocked twice on the door not wanting to catch her mother off guard. If there was anything her mother hated, it was to be caught off guard. It could lead to the person's death. Alice didn't want to die yet. The door opened after several seconds of silence. A shuffling sound sent her right into her mothers suspicious glare. "Alice." Sonya breathed out, staring at her daughter with wide eyes. She let her in by shutting the door behind her. "What are you doing here?" "Can't I come to see my mother." Alice replied defensively. "You know what I mean so don't play dumb with me. What is wrong?" Her mother asked. Alice's silence was getting her mother really worried. She was scared that the witches had come for them. Alice sighed sitting down on the king size bed, her mother had decorated with red and white. Sonya drew a sit away from her reading desk and sat down in front of her Daughter. "What did you do Alice? Tell me what you've come for. Are you ok? Did someone hurt you?" Sonya follow up questions Alice started sobbing softly. Sonya caressed her hands not knowing what else to do to calm her crying daughter. She looked petrified and it was unlike her. "You can talk to me, you know that I'll always help you, my child. Tell me, does this have anything to do with the Alpha?" "I don't understand his mother. I feel guilty for telling him about his mate when you warned me not to. I should have listened to you. I should not have told him. That is the reason why I run from here. But then it's okay, I already move on, I open my heart to one human. I trusted him but he betrayed me." "What did he do?" Sonya sighed resting her back on the chair, she was already feeling frustrated. She had her daughter not been so upset she would sure have scolded her. She always did this, made decisions she specifically warned her against. It was one thing to defy her orders and another to ignore her warnings. And later she still comes back to her to urge her to fix mistakes that could have been avoided, in which Alice had listened to her advice. Alice grunted, wiping her cheeks with the back of her palm. "Alpha wants to throw me into the cell, that's why I chose to live from the outside world, and I can't stay here for a long time. That's the deal." "He did what!" Sonya exclaimed, letting go of her daughter's hand. She became furious. "I told you that the alpha wasn't ready to meet his mate but you chose to go behind me now look what you've caused this would only drive him to the edge I've tried so much to push him away from!" Sonya said "I'm sorry mother. I love him! I thought I was helping him. I thought to stay with him is enough" "I don't care what you thought!" Sonya shouted, interrupting her stuttering. She stood up in anger. "I don't care what you felt either, he's not yours and you know that." She met her daughter's glossy eyes and breathed deeply. She didn't want to have to say this again but she needed to. "Alice, was this your plan all along? To hate the Alpha forever? Because it sure as hell is what's going to happen now!" "Mom, I did nothing to him! it was just the wrong timing, when I told him Clarita heard that. It was Clarita who suggested that I be kicked out of here. But the final decision comes from Alpha. I hate him because he follows what Clarita wants. even though he is not Alpha's true mate. If anyone should leave this place, it's Clarita" Alice said. "Clarita?" Sonya wants to confirm "Yes Mom, she claims herself that she is the Alpha's mate, But don't worry! Alpha didn't know it, she has no guts to tell him" Alice explain "You must do something!" Sonya says with her deep thoughts. "Mother I'll never do such. I never planned this. I thought that his mate would help him feel better. He's suffering from his past mother can't you see that?" Alice sobbed. "Then why the hell did you tell him about his mate when I told you he wasn't ready! Because the only thing I can see now is the alpha forever losing her! And yes I can see he's suffering but he doesn't need his mate he needs a freaking therapist!" "Because I didn't understand why you felt he wasn't fit enough to see his mate!" She yelled frustrated. "I didn't understand anything because you won't explain to me and I wanted him to be happy. I thought that when he sees her he will become better. I never wanted to jeopardize his relationship with his mate. You have to believe me, mother." She begged for understanding sobbing and breathing heavily. She covered her face with her hands and wept more. Sonya exhaled, Alice was still her daughter after all. "Do you understand exactly what's wrong with him my dear?" "I don't." Alice cried out. Sonya exhaled again, removing her daughter's hand from her face. "Then you don't understand why I asked for your discretion. The alpha is suffering from emotional detachment. Emotional detachment is the avoidance of emotional connections. Emotional detachment can be a positive behavior which allows a person to react calmly to highly emotional circumstances. In this sense it can allow people to maintain boundaries, psychic integrity and avoid undesired impact by or upon others, related to emotional demands which the alpha is known for." "Isn't that a good thing?" "I'm not through. As much as emotional detachment has its perk it also has its downs. Emotional detachment may allow acts of extreme cruelty, such as torture and abuse, supported by the decision to not connect emphatically with the person concerned. And this is why I asked that you keep the truth away from him because he sure as hell isn't ready for it." "I never knew about his mother." "I don't care Alice, I gave you a clear warning. Fix it. Get him to fix it! Because I'm sure as hell not letting you risk that young man's life because you could not obey simple instructions. Do you understand?" Alice nodded. She was going to fix this no matter what it took her to. The problem now was she didn't know how to. It took more than determination to fix a problem.
