Gun's POV
IN a softly dim light, grandly decorated ballroom of a five-star hotel, our friends and family gathered together for this announcement. Seated on lavish sofas and chairs, our eyes fixed on the 54 year-old man, Don Pablo, who stood at the center of the room holding a mic in his hand.
"Ladies and gentlemen," he began. Puno ng pananabik at pagmamalaki ang boses nito. "Thank you all for joining us on this special occasion."
Naramdaman ko ang paghagod ng palad sa kamay ko. Nang mag-angat ako ng paningin, bumungad sa akin ang nakangiting mukha ng may-ari ng kamay na iyon. I avoided her gaze and turned my eyes to those who were present in the room.
"It is with great joy that I stand before you today to announce the engagement of my precious daughter, Maxine, to Israel."
