As usual, I woke up early the next morning, even though I barely got any sleep last night. Who could sleep after being told that four men—who were supposed to be my employers, the people I served—wanted to be with me? It was easy for them to say that they didn’t care about my status in life, but what about the people around them? I didn’t really have a choice either, did I? If I didn’t choose one of them or all four of them together, I’d lose my job.
