CHAPTER 24: Mistaken
When I woke up, I felt my butt ached. I was still sitting on the floor tiles, and my head was lying on the wall. I groaned as I stand up to prepare myself for the upcoming day. My behind hurt so much, but I could only wince in pain. I looked at my bed and went to wake up Marcus sleeping peacefully. I stared at his face.
“Marcus, wake up.” I shook his shoulder lightly, but he didn’t budge. “Marcus, umaga na.”
He snored. Lumubog ang kama nang umupo ako. Tinapik-tapik ko siya sa pisngi.
“Marcus, bangon na. Baka may gagawin ka pa.”
