What she saw is Rick, lying flat on the floor, grimacing and almost screaming in pain. Napatakbo siya dito.
“W-what happened?” her eyes are full of worry, ihinarap niya ang asawa. She tried to gather him in his arms but he was too heavy. Wala siyang nagawa kundi isandal muna ang ulo ni Rick sa bisig niya. She scanned him from head to foot, looking for scratches or blood.
Buti at wala naman. But she cant be too sure. Buti ay parating na ang nurse. May tutulong sa kaniya sa inspeksiyon. She cant call Rick’s mother yet, baka maiyak lang ito o ma-praning.
