CHAPTER 6

It's been a while since I sat down in the chair while staring at Ivory's direction. She is just calmly looking at the magazine she's holding and didn't even give me a glance.

What a turn-off! Tss.

How many times do I need to do something for her to notice my existence here? Like, hey! I stayed in her place, so I can flirt with her, obviously.

“Is that magazine fascinating for you to ignore me? Is there a handsome face there?”

Like always, she still didn't response to me. I sighed and decided to sit beside her. Anyway, we are in the park right now. She didn't want us to stay in her house for some unknown reasons. I didn't bother to ask her why because it's not a problem to me too. My only concern is that what should I do to earn her attention? I didn't know until now that her attention is expensive. Tss.

She flip another page of magazine and finally, I saw her opening her mouth. However, she still didn't look at my direction.

“What do you want? You're outside now. You can flirt with other woman, not me. Not all the woman is interested in just the handsome man.”

I sneer in annoyance. As if she's telling the truth. She's just acting preserve, quiet and elegant in front of me, so I will fall for her first. Yeah, right. I already experience this before in some random woman before and turns out that she is head over heels to me.

“Well, I can tell you that I'm not just a handsome guy that you're talking about. I have good sides, you know?”

“I know.”

“What?”

My eyebrows met with confusion written all over my face. I didn't hear her voice well 'cause a gigantic vehicle that I don't know the name suddenly pass by our direction.

“Nothing.”

She continued to stare in her magazine book. I don't know what benefits she could get after reading the magazine. I give a glance to the magazine she's reading, and it is just an ordinary magazine about foods. Different kind of food in different kind of restaurant, fast food chain and other places you can eat.

“I know, I know. You are mesmerized to my handsome face now, right?” I grin to her direction.

She suddenly stops from reading her magazine and look at my direction. I was stunned to speak when we finally locked eyes. My breathing becomes heavy, maybe because I'm shocked and didn't expect that she's will actually look back at me.

Why flowers suddenly appearing around her? She also looks like dazzling in my eyes. Wait. Perhaps, my eyes are the problem right now. Am I dreaming?

“What? Are you out of your mind now?”

I blink my eyes twice before I averted my eyes to other direction.

“No. My eyes just went blank right now. I don't know what's the problem.” I lied.

I'm ready to speak again, but she suddenly grab my face and force it to look at her direction again.

“Do you feel sick right now? Do you want to go home or-?

She stopped talking when a smile flashed on my face. She hit my arm and glared on my eyes. I just shrugged my shoulder and laugh hard.

She actually believe in me, but I didn't expect that she will also feel worried towards me. I thought she always cold, but I guess I'm wrong about that.

“You're worried? You actually like me, huh?” I smirked while touching the arm that she hits before.

It actually sore now. I didn't know that she also has a strength like that. Tss.

“In your dream. Stay away from me. You're annoying.”

She's like this again. She always loved to push people away from her. This is the third day that we are together, and I just realized that she's actually a loner. That's why, I'm wondering right now if she is the same woman that I saw on the bar few days ago. What is the loner like her doing in a bar that full of extrovert person? I mean person and disguising as a person.

“Why? You want me out of your sight, 'cause I'm stating a fact.”

She took a deep breath and stood up. The magazine that she's holding before is left to the bench that we're sitting until now. She looks at my direction with her expressionless eyes.

“I'm not playing with you, and if you want to stay at me for a long time. Don't waste my time and don't say unnecessary things.”

I also stood up and look back at her emerald eyes.

“I'm not playing with you either. Except the fact that I'm flirting with you, I also would like to know if you're really one of us. You know? If you are really a puppy.” I smiled to her after saying those words.

“Tss. Didn't we clear about that before? Yes, I am. Now, what do you still want from me.”

I looked to the other direction before answering her question. I don't know why, but I suddenly feel like I'm trembling right now.

“I thought you agreed to be mate. Why are you still playing hard to get, sweetie?”

She didn't answer back after hearing my words. This is the real problem from the start. I'm living with her for three days, but still, nothing happen between us. Isn't it strange?

Tsk. I'm so frustrated right now. Before, other female lycan already mated with me in just a day even if we don't have an agreement like I have with Ivory right now and now that I have a proper agreement with someone, nothing happen. Is it really like that?

“Okay. Fine. Get out of my sight this time and show yourself to my house before the werewolf clock. If you're late or too early, even in a minute, I will change my mind and will void our agreement. For now, get lost.”

I can't believe what I was hearing right now. Is it real? Is this really the day?
