Chapter 26: Bustling Week
It was a bustling week noong naipalabas na ang episode ng interview ko sa The Home Studio. People flocked to our restaurant to dine, and I was overwhelmed by their support.
"Your service is topnotch," puna ng isa sa mga customer namin. She was accompanied by her friends and umabot ng mahigit sampung libo ang bill nila. Nagustuhan daw nila ang seafood platter at beef burritos kaya nag-order pa silang lahat para sa take-out.
Pati na ang ibang dati naming patron ay bumalik din. "Hello, Chef Gab! It's great to be back. I'd like to order the seafood fettuccine."."
"Right away, Sir. Chardonnay Verdicchio pa rin po ang wine, Sir?" tanong ko.
He smiled, halatang nasisiyahan. "I feel so important. Naalala mo ang favorite wine ko, Chef Gab."
