Chapter 39: I love you, Anjo
Angelo sent me to the staff house as soon as we arrived in Cebu, and then he returned to work at the Delta Hotel. I, on the other hand, went to my office and checked the previous day's sales.
Ador knocked on the door an hour later as I scanned the security cameras from the previous days and nights. We both fast-forwarded the security cameras to see if anything had happened while I was gone for three days, and everything appeared to be normal.
"Remind ko lang 'yong tinanguan mong talk sa LU, hindi ka pa raw sumasagot sa follow up nila. Mamayang hapon na iyon," paalala ni Ador nang tumayo na siya.
"Yeah, kakatawag ko lang sa kanila kanina, nagconfirm na ako na dadalo ako," sagot ko.
"Okay. Magpahinga ka kaya muna... Kadarating mo lang, pumasok ka kaagad."
