Day 2 after Green’s Death

Grell's point of view

“Have you found any trace of him?”, tanong sa akin ng babaeng kulay Asul ang mga buhok habang kumakain ng lollipop  ng magkita kami sa itaas ng building na matagal ng nakatayo sa pusod ng magulong lungsod ng mga tao. This place is always the place we meet up.

“Not yet.”, inis kong sagot sa kanya.

My task is to bring the rebellious Keenan back to Efet. He has been hiding from us for almost two hundred years. We heard he has been hiding here so we followed him here.

Pero hanggang ngayon, wala pa rin kaming trace tungkol sa Fallen na iyon. He is good in hiding.

“I really hate humans”, sabi na naman ng babae sa akin.

“Who said you should like them?”, sarkisto kong tanong sa kanya. "We're only here for a sole purpose and that bastard didn't even show his self yet",

“Don’t try to pick fight with me “ babala niya sa akin.

“I am not. What are you doing here by way? You suppose to kill the vampire Queen isn’t it?”, tanong ko sa kanya.

“Are you an idiot? That vampire queen isn't even the real Queen. She has the last Eve’s heart within her but she’s nothing but a piece of trash. I will not waste my strength to someone like her. I shall wait for the real Eve. I know she’s out there and will claim her throne soon.”,

“And do you think you can defeat her just like that? Their Father isn't stupid and he won’t let any of its children die you should know that”, sabi ko sa kanya habang nakaupo sa barindilya ng balkonahe.

“I knew that. Beside half of it power were given to her Daughter right?”,

“Yes to its precious Eve so expect a tough fight between you two”,

Great Dark Shadow also known as Apollion  was the father of the Demon King of Efet, Azazel. He admired his father for the greatness he shown to the creatures living inside of Efet including Keenan who was the trusted right hand of his father. Apollon envied the humans who live peacefully on earth. So he created his own children using the seed of Lilith which he stole when he was still a member of Seraphim. We called nowadays as Vampires. He carefully search and choose a young girl who shall bear children at nakita niya ang nag-iisang anak na babae ng Eve ng mga tao.

Ang batang babae ay kanyang binantayan hanggang sa ito ay tumuntong na sa tamang edad. I remember many trials he had before he perfectly choose to design the body of the possible mother of his creation. I was still kid back then. If I wasn't mistaken, he had his own blood mixed with the molded fruit he about to plant on Earth.

Bagamat nilinlang niya ang babae, ang lahing pangarap lamang ni Apollion ay nagkaroon ng katuparan. Bilang tanda ng pagmamahal sa unang Eve ng mga bampira, ang kalahati ng kanyang kapangyarihan ay lihim niya inilagay sa katawan nito ng minsang ito ay natutulog. Ang kapangyarihang iyon ay naiipapasa sa mga susunod na mga Eve na manggagaling sa babae.

Ito ay hindi nalingid sa kaalaman ni Azazel, which is my Father kung saan ay nagkaroon ito ng matinding pagkamuhi sa ama. Napagpasyahan niyang tuluyan ng burahin sa kanilang mundo ang ama. Bagamat si Apollion ay humina na, hindi nya nagawang kalabanin ang anak, bagkus ay si Keenan, ang kanyang tapat na kanang kamay ang humarap sa mga nag-sialsang nilalang sa impyerno laban sa kanya. But father gained allies from the other level of Hell. Apollions' forces got defeated at sa huli ay pinatakas niya si Keenan at sinabihang huwag ng bumalik  at mamuhay kasama ng kanyang mga anak. Bagamat labag sa kalooban ni Keenan, sinunod niya ang kagustuhan ng kanyang Master. Natalo ito sa kanyang anak at naglaho na ng tuluyan. Ngunit bago iyon, nagawa pang lagyan ng harang ang lagusan patungo sa mundo ng mga tao mula impyerno.

It prevented the King Azazel  itself to wipe out  his father’s children on Earth. Bagamat bigong makalabas, ipinadala niya kami sa mundo ng mga tao upang tuluyang mapaslang ang dalawang nilalang na mahalaga sa kanyang ama. Ang Eve at si Keenan.

"What are you two doing here?”,tanong ng biglang lumitaw na lalaking kulay pula ang mahabang buhok.

“Maybe their thinking of quitting” sabi naman ng babaeng kulay green ang maiksing buhok na nakakapit sa braso ng lalaking kulay pula ang buhok..

“If it wasn’t the nauseating Black Whisper”, nakangising sabi ng babaeng kulay asul ang buhok.

Nilingon ito ni Black Whisper bago tumaas ang kanang kilay nito and her lips formed grimaced.

“Oh the famous Poison Berry I bet you failed to kill the Eve right? That’s why the king sent me here”,ito naman ang ngumisi.

Umasim ang mukha ni Poison Berry.

“I don’t need you here. I am waiting for the real Eve to show herself. Go back to Efet your nauseating me”,

“Will you two stop? The King is pissed right now. He wants to hear some good news from both of you specially you, Prince Grell”, sabi ng lalaking pula ang buhok.

Napatingin ako sa kanya. It is not good to hear that. When the king is pissed, everyone down to Efet avoided him. His too scary when he is pissed beyond pissed.

“What shall we do Scarfaced?”, tanong ko sa kanya.

“How about you do your task? We cannot afford another hundred year before we find that rebellious bastard”, sagot sa akin ni Scarfaced.

“But be careful. I heard how he defeated the king’s best warriors. He must something or more stronger than us”,

Wala sa loob na nayupi ko na pala ang metal na barandilya ng roof top na iyon na hindi ko namalayan na nahawakan ko pala. Narinig ko na rin iyon mula sa aking mga magulang na noon ay humarap kay Keenan. He was branded as “Killing Beast” dahil sa paraan nito ng pagpapatay sa kapwa kalahi nito.

“And you”, baling nito kay Poison Berry. “You mustn’t underestimate the Eve. She’s just sleeping somewhere and waiting for her power to be awaken. How about you find her while she’s still vulnerable and kill her? Or work with Black Whisper. That way you tow can defeat her easily”,

Nagkatinginan ang dalawang babae.

"No freaking way!", sabay na sagot na dalawa.

Bumuntong-hininga ako.

“You know she’s been protected by the great shadow’s spell. I can’t find her not until she’s awaken of course.”,sagot ni Poison Berry.

Without the Eve, it will be easy for us to kill all the vampires. That’s why we need to find ther but the great shadow foreseen this so he created a spell to protect her from us. But have just recieved a new that if the Eve is dead, all vampires will follow her. Why kill every vampire when they can always multiply? Why can't we just kill the main reason why they are existing? It will make our job easy.

“And don’t forget the three Gaeis made to serve the Queen”, singit naman ni Black Whisper habang nilalaro ang tattoo ni Scarfaced sa braso. "They are not to be taken easily",

Oo nga pala. Magigising lang ang tatlong iyon kapag lubos ng gising ang kapangyarihan ng Eve. They have served the previous Queens before but neither of them showed any ability before.

“So what shall we do the fake queen? We should kill her and the rest?”, sabi pa ni Black Whisper.

“You can’t eliminate the vampires unless you killed the one true queen. How many times should I tell you that?”, inis na sabi ko sa babae.

Ang vampire society ay nalilingid sa kaalaman ng mga tao. Ito ay nakakalat sa buong mundo. Nakakasalamuha ng mga tao. Isa ito paraan nila upang makakuha ng pagkain ng hindi nahihirapan. Of course humans are to fool to think anything rather than theirself. When nightfalls, creatures of the dark are lurking around, hunting.

Humans are easy target. They are weak and clueless to what is actually happening.

Tumalon ko  mula sa pinakamataas ng palapag ng building na iyon at lumapas sa lupa ng walang kahirap-hirap at pagkatapos ay sumakay na sa aking motorsiklo at pinasibad iyon palayo.

"Good evening Sir", bati sa akin ng sundalong nakagwardiya sa gate ng battalion headquarter ng base militar.

"Good evening", sagot ko sa kanya bago pumasok tuloy-tuloy sa parking lot ng base.

I have to disguise myself upang nakisalamuha sa mga tao. I just can't walk with my real appearance. Humans will freak out.

"Sir", isang sundalo ang nag-salute sa akin ng makapasok ako sa building ng base.

"What's new?", tanong ko sa lalaki.

"There have been unsual happaned in  an abondon building. Some of our men are already deployed there sir", aniya.

"The situation?",

"Police think its a terrorists doings. Your presence is needed there sir",

"Okay I got it. I'll go", sagot ko sa kanya bago muling lumabas.

I could careless about that abandon building. I more care to find Keenan as soon as possible ngunit kailangan ko ring puntahan ang lugar ayon sa kasamahan ko ay may terrorists activities.

Habang naglalakad ako ay nakasaklubong ang dalawang wolves habang nag-uusap at minsan ay nagtatawanan pa. Kasunod nila ang isang babaeng nakasuot lamang ng isang brown tattered cloak habang bitbit niya ang sa tingin ko ay pinamili ng mag-asawa. I secretly observe the girl since natuon ang aking atensyon sa kanya.

I saw scars all over her exposed arms' skin. May malaking peklat ito sa kanang pisngi at sabog ang pang-ibabang labi nito. Sinulyapan ko ng kanyang mga mata. Though it was a beautiful color of amberish red, tila wala na itong kislap. Her eyes are dull and dead. It seems like the life from them were gone a long time ago.

"Ang bagal mo talaga kahit kelan Sorin. Bilisan mo naman.", narinig kong sigaw ng babae na sinusundan niya bago siya nito hinila na halos magkadapa-dapa ang babae.

Hindi ito umimik ngunit hindi nakaligtas sa aking paningin ng luhang namuo sa mga mata ng babaeng tinawag na Sorin. It took me a good strength to keep myself from attacking the older woman because of what she did to her.

Gustong-gustong kong lapitan ang babae upang yakapin ito. I don't why I have the sudden urge to do it. But the pull is so strong that I almost let myself go to where she is.

Nakita kong tumingin sa akin si Sorin.  Nagtama ang aming paningin. At doon ko nakita ang pagpatak ng kanyang luha.

Wait she can see me?

How?

Then there's this unfamiliar pull.

"I said move fast", sabi pa uli ng babae  bago hinila ang buhok ni Sorin.

Walang nagawa si Sorin kung hindi sumunod sa babae bago pabulong na nagsalita sa hangin ng tulong.

At hindi iyon nakaligtas sa aking pandinig.
