"Okay, class dismissed. You all may go now," our teacher last said before she left us.
"So where are we going to hang out today?" Aly asked.
"Yeah, where?" Allen said while rubbing her tummy, a sign that she is hungry.
"Allen's Dragon is already hungry," Rhamil joked, making Allen punch his shoulder.
"Ouch!" Rhamil accidentally shouted like a girl because of the hurt.
"It's not Rhamil for now, it's Rhamilita," I joked, making my three girls burst out laughing.
"Ellaine!" He said, looking at me as if he was about to kill me.
"What?" I innocently said while flashing a peace sign at him.
"Tsk," he said and left the four of us in the room.
"What a walkout, boy! Hahaha," Kayla said and followed Rhamil, while the three of us—Allen, Alyssa, and I—looked at each other and laughed once again before we followed them.
"Hey, Rhamil, wait for us!" Aly shouted at Rhamil, who was now at the school gate, but he kept walking so fast. "If you don't stop, I won't let you copy my activities and assignments! Dare me, Rhamil Aclan!" Allen shouted with a bossy tone.
"Hehehe, I'm just joking, guys," Rhamil stopped and came near us, putting his arm around our shoulders, making the four of us laugh at Rhamil's action.
When we were at the gate, Rhamil stopped and said he would be waiting for his friend, so the five of us waited with him. A few minutes later, a man came to us, and I didn't know what to say at that moment because the person Rhamil had been waiting for was the one and only Archer.
"What's up, man?" Rhamil said, fist-bumping Archer.
"Hey," Archer replied before fist-bumping Rhamil.
"Someone wants to talk to you, bro," Rhamil said, making Archer look at him curiously. "Huh? Who?"
"Let's go, girls," Rhamil said, putting his arm around Allen, Kayla, and Alyssa's shoulders, leaving me and Archer behind. At first, no one wanted to talk to each other.
"Hmm, so?" Archer said, raising one eyebrow.
"Ah, um..." I said, taking a deep breath and continuing, "I'm sorry about what happened last time," I said with my eyes closed.
"It's fine, I already forgive you. Is that all? Well, I need to go," he said, preparing to leave.
"Okay, I'm sorry for everything. I didn't mean all of that; it's just that I wasn't in the mood that time and I felt too grumpy that day. I'm really sorry. If you have free time now, I want to treat you to some ice cream to show you how serious I am about my apology," I said, bowing my head.
"I will accept your offer if... I'm the one who is paying," he said, making me stare at him. "Staring is rude, miss," he said when he caught me staring.
"Oh, well, is that so? Okay," I accepted his offer to make it up to him. "So, where are we going to buy some ice cream?"
"Follow me, shall we, miss?" He said, offering me his hand and bowing, and I accepted, also bowing, and we both laughed after doing that silly thing.
"Hmm... yum," I said while licking my ice cream. "Thanks, by the way, Mr.," I thanked him.
"Anything for the princess," he said jokingly, so I stared at him sternly, but he just laughed.
"Thanks for the ice cream again, and thanks for accompanying me home safely, Mr.," I said as he walked me home.
"Always welcome, miss. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon that you brought me," he said, giggling, and I just smiled back before he waved and left.
"What a fantastic day," I murmured after closing the door.
