THE night of the charity ball came. The event was held in a five start hotel owned by Luke’s friend Chester. Of course, kasama ni Luke si Aifa. Kasalukuyan silang naghahanda para sa kanilang pagdalo. Nagpahid ng lipstick si Aifa sa kaniyang labi habang nakaharapnsa salamin na nasa kaniyang silid.
After ten minutes, Aifa was fully dressed and dolled up when she walked back into Luke's bedroom. Luke also was almost done. He was busy doing his tie knot in front of the mirror. His hands stopped operating the tie the moment their eyes met in the mirror. Through the mirror, his eyes travelled up and down her body, lingering a moment to her chest and back to her eyes. He turned around and slowly repeated his appraisal.
“B-Bakit?” Aifa asked, squirming a little under his heated stare.
