Nate's POV
I went home straight after Dad fetched me. Mom was already asleep. I kissed her forehead before I went to my room and changed my clothes. As I recalled what happened tonight, napangiti nalang ako.
I was glad that I was able to dance her at last minute. That was the best part of my night.
As I was changing my clothes, my phone rang. I glanced at the screen of my phone. My heart pumped as I saw Aoina's name. I quickly answered her call.
"Hey," bati ko. I was smiling like an idiot.
"I'm home, Nate. Ikaw ba?"
Her voice... so sweet and gentle it could put me to sleep.
"I'm home too. How was the party?"
"It was good. Memorable naman."
"Which one is the best part?"
"Hmm," she hummed, I could imagine her thinking. "I would lie if I tell you it's not when we dance."
