"Hello, Fate. I'm your big brother,"
I kissed Fate's little hand. She yawned and cried. My heart swelled in delight.
"I promise to protect you no matter what, Fate. I am your kuya, your knight in shining armor."
I kissed her little hand once again. How fragile and innocent she was. My heart wanted to protect her at all cost.
"She's so beautiful," Aoina whispered beside me. "I want to be her ate too."
I glanced at her and smiled. My heart is calm everytime she is near me.
