Audrey’s POV
Nang hindi pa siya sumasagot, mas lumala ang tension when his glares grew fiercer.
“Mr. Eun…bakit hindi mo nalang ako patayin? You know?…like what you did to her.” I said, smirking emphasizing the last part. Hindi ko alam kung anong exact cause of death ni Maricar, my biological mother. Pero, one thing’s for sure, she died because of him.
Napatigil naman ako ng mapansin kong nagbago ang expression ng mukha niya. The rough expression that was clearly written on his face, faded. Although it didn’t soften, his face becomes blank, stating I hit the truth.
Mas lumapad ang ngisi ko, when he stepped back. Looking at me, turning pale, he uttered.
“Maricar…” And because of that, I caught the gist. The past must be haunting him, huh?
