The air in the room suddenly went cold as time passes by. Nakatayo lang ako doon as the Curtizan sit there in front of me with his legs crossed. Hindi na siya nakasuot ng magara niyang damit na sinusuot niya sa harap ng kanyang mga tao. In this room, he is just someone ordinary. Or at least I wished he was.
"Don't you think this is quite inappropriate to share the same room kahit hindi pa tayo kasal?" Nakita ko ang pagtaas ng kilay niya as soon as I finished my sentence.

"Kriven." I voice out, almost pleading. Nakatingin lang siya sa'kin as if waiting to hear what I'm about to say.
"Please, at least give me some time alone hanggang sa kasal." Just being here in the same room with him suffocates me. I need to at least fill my self with the essence of being alone hanggang sa ikasal
