Comeback
"I'm not really sure about this, honey," dudang iling ni Mommy nang ihatid na ako sa foyer.
Samantalang si Daddy, nakapamulsa lang na nakamasid sa amin. Tahimik ngunit puno rin ng paninimbang ang mga mata.
Napabuga ako ng hangin. Lalo na nang nahuli ko si Mommy na sumisilip sa labas at dismayadong napapailing.
"What are you worrying for? It's not as if I've never done this before. Hindi ba kayo masaya na babalik na ako sa Damgeen?" sarkastiko kong wika. "And I thought you want me to be friends with him? What's with the sudden change of heart?"
"Michaela!" Daddy roared, ending his stoic demeanor. "Where's your manners? We're just worrying about your safety and condition! Isn't valid? Plus, we have our own driver for you so I don't see the need for that guy."
