DUNCAN finished his newly invented Soul Protection Pill. He has been experimenting about this along with the other things, and now, it's already completed and perfected.

Hindi niya na nabilang kung ilang araw siyang nasa loob ng laboratory niya sa mansion ni Claudius, ngunit paglabas niya, maliwanag pa naman sa labas.

He close his eyes as he stretch his body. Damn, that feels so good. He didn't sleep nor eat for days, he just take some pill to fulfill the energy needed.

Hinanap niya ang mga kasama sa bahay, naabutan niya si Guillaume at Devian na nasa dining area, kumakain ng mga matatamis na pagkain. Kapwa napatingin sa kaniya ang dalawa. Si Guillaume ay tiningnan siya mula ulo pababa, habang ang bata naman ay kunot ang noo at napatigil sa pagsubo ng tsokolate.

"Duncan baby, don't tell me you didn't sleep nor take a bath while doing your experiments? You look ridiculous!"

Halos natawa ang lalaki habang nagsasalita. Hindi niya naman pinagtuunan ng pansin ang sinabi nito.

"How many days have it been?"

Napahawak ito sa baba at tila nag-isa.

"You were in seclusion for like one whole week!"

"Yes, 'Uncan, I didn't see you for a week."

Not as bad as last time. One week in seclusion is a very little time for him. Kapag natuon ang atensyon niya sa mga ginagawa, madalas, umaabot ng buwan siyang nasa loob ng laboratory.

Tumango siya sa dalawa at iniwan na ang mga ito roon.

THEODRED is currently checking the list of items being sold in the black market. He's been monitoring it since the auction. Nothing really weird happened that made things weirder for him. How come the half bloods, the humans and some Nobles let go of the map that easily?

Isinara niya ang pamaypay na hawak hawak at tumayo. He's in the rattan sofa beside the pool.

Claudius roll his eyes when he said that. Natawa na lamang siya dahil sa naging reaksyon na ito. But oh well, he's saying the truth, if he is in his real appearance, everyone's will surely drool. He miss his silky long hair already. His face is more handsome than this. He can't help but to feel blue all of sudden. He miss the good ol' days.

Sumama ang ekspresyon nang mukha niya dahil sa sinabi nito. Snake?! Why is he always tagged as snake? He's a good guy, he won't fool anyone to eat a fruit just to mislead them...

Nagpanggap siyang nagpupunas ng luha habang pinagmamasdan ang kausap, lalong sumasama ang timpla nito dahil sa nakikita.

"You're so mean to me, Lawyart, my gentle heart is aching." Napahawak siya sa dibdib at umaktong nasasaktan.

Padabog itong umalis sa kaniyang harapan. Napakalaki ng ngisi niya sa naging reaksyon ni Lawyart, he's short tempered as ever.

Natawa siya sa lakas ng boses nito sa kabilang linya. This is Leon, an S Class half blood. Leon is strong, but he is stronger. They met in the war years ago. He save this man's life and for a few years he felt indebted to him, but later on they built unexpected friendship. Even the King knows about it, he is one of the half bloods his Majesty allowed to enter the Nobilis. Of course, without the three races knowing.

"Hmm..." Napaisip ito sa kabilang linya.

"Things are messy as heck, I'll need a high grade weapon."

Pinaglaruan niya sa kamay ang wine glass. Pinaikot ikot niya ang laman nito at tinitigan.

"Oh s**t. This is dangerous, a simple text is making me smile like a freaking teenager." Sambit ni Egon sa sarili na naririnig niya naman.

Napangisi siya sa tinuran nito. Bahagyang tumaas ang kilay niya at napaisip.

This flirt will surely expereince doom one day. He always makes girls cry, he's looking forward seeing him heart broken. He can still remember how Egon laughed at him hundred of years ago when someone rejected him for the first day in spite of his gorgeous appearance.

"Who is she?"

"She's the— oh f**k, why are you asking?" Nagdududa itong tumingin sa kaniya, naniningkit pa ang mata at inilayo ang hawak na phone na para bang may balak siyang kunin ito.

"Nothing, I just felt like seducing someone, mind sharing your girl?"

Hindi niya inaasahan ang biglang pagseryoso nito at ang matatalim na tingin. Biglang kumalat ang mga rosas sa paligid, at may ilang gamit ang natunaw sa lason nito.

Nanlaki ang mata niya dahil hindi naman niya inakalang ganito kaseryoso ang kasama. The f**k, Egon is taking things serious because of a girl? That's a break f*****g news. Worthy to be on the headlines!

"George, you are ruining Lawyart's house!" Iyon lamang ang sinabi niya sa kabila ng maraming bagay na gustong sabihin.

Para naman itong nagulat at natauhan sa nangyari. Napahawak ito ng ulo at halatang pinapahinahon ang sarili. Tumingin si Egon sa paligid. He look like a shock toad eyeing what he have done.

Tumingin pa ito sa kaniya na para bang nahihiya sa nagawa.

Napailing ito at hindi pa rin makapaniwala, "Dang, looks like it." Humakbang ito patalikod sa kaniya para umalis.

Ngunit, biglang huminto ito sa paglalakad, nilingon siya nitong may panibagong masamang tingin.
