Nandito ako sa terrace. Breathing the fresh air. Feeling the sun kissing my skin. I let out a deep breath. I was about to leave nang makita ko si Manong Dee na binubuksan ‘yung gate. Tiningnan ko kung sino iyon. Agad na tumingin si Manong Dee sa direksiyon ako.
Binuksan niya ang gate and there I saw a giant bee stuff toy. Joshua.
I rushed my way out at sinalubong ko kaagad ang yakap ni Joshua when he just entered the front door. Nalaglag ‘yung mga dala niya but I didn’t mind. I hugged him tight and so did he. “I’m so sorry, Cassandra.” Aniya at mas hinigpitan ang yakap sa akin.
He put me down and kissed my forehead. Napangiti ako.
