“You’re still cold?” I caressed Cassandra’s cheeks to feel her skin. Ngumiti lang siya sa akin at dahan-dahang tumango. I pulled the sheet to cover her body para hindi siya lamigin. She just had her blood transfusion.. now some side effects, she’s having a cold.
“I could use a hug..” Sabi niya habang nakatingin sa akin na nakangiti. I couldn’t resist her smile kaya lumapit na ako sa kanya at tumabi sa kanya. With her thin body, I hugged her slowly. Kissing her forehead, she just giggled at niyakap din ako.
“I like this kind of hug.” Cassandra buried her face on my chest which made me smile.
