One Final Choice
“GOOD morning,” Collen woke up into Riko’s voice early in the morning. She found him opening her curtains in her room. She was still in a daze upon getting up but realized not after a few more seconds that she was drunk last night.
“I took you home, don’t worry. Your friend called me by your phone,” maagap na saad naman ni Riko gayong magtatangka pa lamang si Collen na magtanong sana.
“It was unusual of you to drink like that,” biglang sabi naman ni Riko habang palapit ito sa kama niya.
“Napasarap lang ‘yung kuwentohan,” ngiting sagot naman ni Collen. Maski si Collen ay hindi rin makapaniwala na nalasing siya kagabi.
“Next time, call me if you’re drinking. I can just simply sit by your side and watch you drink,” hindi alam ni Collen kung guni-guni lang niya iyon
