Chapter 1



I cried in fear as he unbutton my clothes. I feel hopeless because of our differences in strength.

"L-Let me go." I sobs.

But as if he's a monster that couldn't hear my plea.

I feel my body tremble and cried hard while he is pinning me against wall.

Sa pagmamadali niya na mahubad ang suot ko ay nasira na niya ang damit ko. I wanted to hide my almost naked body from this monster but I can't.

"H-Help..." nanghihinang sambit ko.

"No one's gonna help you tonight." He then whispered.

As if crushing my hope.

I suddenly remember him. He won't come here! He won't come here and save me.

Ryx!

"That woman you are holding..." and as if some magic happens the man I was just thinking a minute ago appear in front of me with a murderous look on his face, clenching his hands."She is mine."

Hindi ko na alam ang sumunod na nangyari. I think I past out while Ryx is trying to save me. I am conscious again after Ryx wake me up.

"R-Ryx!" napayakap ako sa kaniya."H-He tried to r-r**e me..." mangiyak-ngiyak na sumbong ko. I could still feel that monster's touch in my body making me shivered in fear and disgusts.

"He won't bother you again. I promise. Everything is alright now." pag-aalo niya sa akin.

"W-Where is he?" takot na tanong ko sa kaniya.

Nilingon niya ang lalaking nakabulagta sa likuran niya at nanlaki ang mata ko sa nakita.

The guy is covered in blood...and i-is he still alive?

"He's still fortunate that he's still alive." aniya.

Napatili ang manager ko ng maabutan niya kami ni Ryx at ang lalaking nakahandusay sa sahig.

"Please call a police." Ryx ordered.

Dali-dali namang tumango ang manager ko at kinuha ang cellphone niya sa bulsa.

"B-But that guy...isn't he the son of senator Dominic?" The shock of horror in my manager's face is a proof that we will be in a big trouble.

I knew it very well since I am in this field for four years now.

"I'll take care everything." Ryx said." You don't have to worry about this."

Nang dumating ang mga pulis ay kinuha nito ang statement ko pagkatapos ay dinala na ang lalaki sa presinto.

"T-Thank you." I faced Ryx.

"Did he hurt you?" tanong niya at hinaplos ang pisngi ko.

Sunod-sunod akong umiling habang hindi ko mapigilan ang pagtulo ng luha sa mga mata ko.

"Do you want to stay in my place tonight, Avs?" He asked softly.

As if all my tears froze.

"H-Huh?"

"After what just happened tonight I can't just let you go home alone." he shooked his head.

We went home together. It is the first time I'll go in his place. I'd never visited his home because I feel like I wasn't really welcome there.

His place is warm and cozy. Halatang mayaman ang may-ari ng bahay. Ang exterior design palang ng bahay halatang pinag-isipan at pinagkagastusan.

And the interior of the house make me gape.

"Welcome," napalingon ako kay Ryx ng magsalita siya." To my house, Avs."

Napatango ako habang nanatili ang titig sa kaniya.

"You should freshen up so I'll take you to your room." He said, giving me a slight nod.

Sumunod ako sa kaniya at umakyat naman kami sa second floor ng bahay.

Napansin ko na tatlo lang ang pinto na meroon doon.

"This is my room." He pointed out the first door that we reached."And this is my office." sumulyap siya sa akin kaya napatango ako.

"And this..." we stop at the last and third door."...is your room." aniya.

"M-my room?" ulit ko.

Tumingin siya sa akin at tsaka tumango." Yes."

"All the things you needed is already inside. So after you're done with your shower please come and see me at the kitchen. I'll make hot chocolate for you." then he left.

Napanganga ako ng pumasok ako sa silid. Pambabae ang disenyo ng silid at nang tignan ko ang closet nakita kong may mga damit na na andoon and they are all fit to my sizes. No way!

This room...as if this room is made for me! The color of the room and the designs...it was all to my liking.

Pagkatapos kong mamangha sa silid ay pumili na ako ng damit at inilapag iyon sa kama at tsaka nagtungo na sa banyo para maligo.

The bathroom looks expensive. May mga gamit ng pambabae and even all the things that a woman need is all here and complete!

Hindi kaya kwarto ito ng girlfriend ni Ryx? B-But he told me that this is my room.

Binilisan ko na lang ang pagligo ko at nang makapagbihis na ako ay lumabas na ako ng silid.

I went straight to the kitchen, Ryx is there.

Nakaupo siya at parang malalim ang iniisip. Nang mapansin na andito na ako ay bumaling siya sa akin.

"I made you hot chocolate, your favorite." he said.

"Ah, thank you." lumapit ako sa kaniya at naupo.

Hinawakan ko ang tasa at sumimsim doon ng tsokolate.

"Your room," napalingon ako sa kaniya."Did you like your room?"

"Huh?"

"I decorated it like how you wanted it." aniya.

Kumunot ang noo ko dahil hindi ko makuha ang sinasabi niya.

My room? Saglit akong napaisip.

"T-the room upstairs...y-you mean?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko.

Tumango siya." Yeah. Did you like it?"

"A-akin ang kwartong iyon?" I blinked innumerable times.

"Yes. Who else will own that room except you?" nagsalubong ang kilay niya ng tignan niya ako.

"I-I'm going to live here?"

"Yes." he nodded.

"But you don't like me? So why do you want me to stay here? This is your place. Am I even welcome here in the first place?"

"I don't like you?" He frowned even more.

Parang batang tumango ako sa kaniya.

Matagal niya akong pinakatitigan hanggang sa ngumisi siya na parang may napagtanto. "Ah, I get it."

"Huh?"

"I don't hate you, I actually like you, Avresia...so much that it makes me confused."
