Mika embraced Emily when she arrived in front of the Trial Court in Panayang City. "Oh, dear. What happened? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" she asked, worry on her expression. She was at a meeting when Evan called her about his sister's accident. She couldn't get out immediately that's why she reached the trial court a bit late.
Emily smiled sheepishly at her while her hands were hidden behind her back. "I'm fine. Thanks to Oliver," she said gesturing her head to him.
Mika sighed in relief. "Thank goodness! Your brother is worried sick, but he couldn't make it. He's out of town," she informed. "Have you eaten already?"
"Well..."
"We're about to head out and grab some dinner. Do you wanna join us?" Emily asked her, butting into Oliver's words.
Oliver's face flushed and looked away.
