Janelle's narrative:
When Flare and I stepped out of the car, Dad's men instantly rushed towards us, throwing a suspicious look at Flare.
"Mam Janelle, pinapasundo ka na ni Don Brandon..." said Rude, one of Dad's uniformed men.
I glanced at Flare's frowning face then I turned my head back to the guard and said, "Yeah, I know. Sorry kung matagal kayong naghintay... Galing pa kasi kaming Tagaytay..." Then I held Flare's hand. "Sasama ako pero isasama ko rin ang boyfriend ko..."
Their judging look bounced to Flare but didn't say anything more.
