The meeting with the forensics ended quickly. I have still 15 minutes of peace and quiet before meeting Misty or does I?

"It was difficult to walk fast and not notice you."

I react like I get it.

"Really not in the mood for a hallway-flirt right now."

"Well, we could find a more comfortable place..."

"Please call me, Keigan, Miss..?

"Nathalie."

"Sounds great. Does it go with a phone number?"

'How will I respond to this vulgar display of arrogance?'

"Should I be impressed?"

"Haha, that would've hurt, if I weren't this tough. And I've also heard you are tough player yourself."

"Well, you rank pretty high up on those lists too. Your record is almost as impeccable as mine."

"I don't really care much for ranking...It's service, not sports."

"Trying to invite you sa isang date?"

I get another phone call. It's Chief Williams.

"Yes, Chief?"

"Hey, Nathalie, nakalimutan kong sabihin sa iyo, we get a new guy in the team."

"Please meet him, make him feel welcome, OK?"

"Pano ko siya makikilala sir?"

"Looks like a big shot. No way you can miss him.

"Think I already met him."

"Great! You're the best, Nathalie!"

"Does that go with a raise, sir?"

"Haahaahaa! No. Bye!"

The call ended.

"So, how about that phone number?"

'What do I say to him?'

I need to think about it.

"I'll need to think about it, but now I need to go. Hinihintay ako ng bestfriend ko."

"I'll see you around."
