Ngumiti si Alexa sa akin nang makitang katabi ko si Luke. They just got back from lunch.
“Here,” aniya bago iabot sa akin ang isang paper bag ng isang sikat na pizza chain. “We just had pizza. I hope you like it.”
I smiled and nodded. “I like it. Thank you, Alex.”
She smiled weakly before sitting down. She has come down and I think it's a good idea that she stepped out for a while. Calvin sat beside her and held her hand.
Luke cleared his throat. “Are you going to eat? I’ll accompany you to the cafeteria,” he offered.
I smiled and shook my hand. Ayokong umalis dahil malapit nang matapos ang operasyon. Malapit nang lumabas si Mommy at gusto ko siyang makita agad.
“I’ll eat here instead,” sagot ko at inilabas ang pizza na nasa loob pati na rin ang drinks na kasama nito.
