It was Saturday evening, I was really excited to see a friend from my hometown who happened to live here in Los Angeles. Since I was about to go back to the Philippines next week after a month of vacation with my son, I accepted her invitation to have dinner with her family and also watch an annual Pinoy Talent Competition to be held in one of the prestigious hotels here in California.
Of course, I was more excited because I will go along with my son pagkatapos nang napakahabang pilitan.
After we had dinner and met Emily's family, we headed straight to the hotel where almost all the Filipino community are present to personally watch the traditional annual competition.
