Several minutes earlier, Faro is with the Zionist weapon masters in the weaponry building of the Village.

Faro asked one of the weapon masters,

how long have you been working with Madam Suzy? I’m sure it must’ve been a long time considering the trust between her and this village is this big, I’m guessing you all treat each other as siblings, right?

The weapon master answered,

for you to ask something that personal means that you and Suzy are close, I trust her, I would listen to everything she tells me to do, and I trust her enough that I know she knows I’m telling the truth and she will follow what I tell her to do, and I’m sure I am similar to all of us that lived here with her for many generations now if you like Suzy and want to be close to her for as long as possible, establish the same trust that we have, small tip from me, ain’t that right, gentlemen!?

He explained as he asked the other weapon masters in the weaponry building.

They answered,

hell yes, boss!

She’s the best warrior on this Continent for sure.

I trust her more than my traitorous father.

Faro’s thoughts,

they have been with each other for many generations now, I would not try to know how they’ve established such trust between one another, especially with Suzy seeing as she is basically the reason why the Zion Village stands above other villages.

Going back to the present time, Suzy and Faro ended their conversation before midnight arrives.

Chief, please escort Faro from the other entry of the village, I will be talking to the Elders.

Suzy told Chief Lady Hopei.

Yes, Madam, Sir Faro, right this way?

Chief Lady Hopei said as she calls Faro.

Faro said.

Chief Lady Hopei then led Faro to the entry on the other side of the Village, away from the Theist Country.

On their way there, the two of them talked.

Answer me honestly, who are you to Madam Suzy, Sir Faro?

Chief Lady Hopei asked him.

I’m no more than a close friend to her, in the Theist Country at least since we met there, I don’t know her in here, she’s different because all the people here trust her, and she trusts them all as well, not like in the Country where she can’t because they only see her as a Heroine, and half of them hated her so that leveraged more on her trust, here, she is like the inspiration for all people, everyone’s close friend too, that’s what I see after helping here.

Faro explained his answer to her.

Is that so? I’m glad to hear that she didn’t bring a lover from the Theist since you will take a lot of time to even gain our trust, trust that you can be by her side longer than anyone could, and the same level of trust we have for Suzy, that’s how much we like Suzy, we don’t want her to end up with someone that will one day hurt her.

Chief Lady Hopei explained, responding to Faro’s answer.

Not like I need to worry, for now, she doesn’t see me like that yet; I just hope there comes the time that I can get to that level of trust before I die.

Faro said.

At the very least, you’re a little doubtful, that’s a sign that you aren’t very cocky, but don’t be too pessimistic since that will definitely be a downfall to get the Elder’s reliance on you.

Chief Lady Hopei responded, giving him tips.

Now that I think about it…

Faro thought.

How much do you think Madam Suzy trusts you, Chief Lady? You don’t need to answer since it sounds like a personal question.

Faro asked her.

I think I can answer something like that, I know she trusts me more than everyone except for the Elders since she trusts them more than me, but if I were to ask her about it, she will say she trusts us all equally.

Chief Lady Hopei answered his personal question.

Hmm, it is something that she will say, but, I know all people have trust level depending on the person, I know she doesn’t trust me yet, but she knows I can follow what she tells me to do, that I know, anyway, I will be leaving now.

Faro said.

Right, wherever you’re going, make sure to be safe so that Suzy can see you again, of course, and obviously, that comes with the benefit of seeing her again, I presume the reason why you’re leaving before midnight is so that the Theist Country can’t accuse you of assisting us in the day of their attack here?

Chief Lady Hopei asked him.

For the most part, but I don’t want to lose my grounds in the Country since being as a Commander there is entirely my whole life now, I want to establish a relationship with Madam Suzy, but I still want to keep being a Commander as well, anyway, have a good midnight, Chief.

Faro said he then left the Zion Village after their talk.

Have a good midnight as well and be careful, Suzy’s close friend from the Theist Country, Sir Faro.

Chief Lady Hopei said as well.

She then entered the Village again.

That man is very cautious, though he’s cautious not just because he wants to be close to us to gain our trust for Madam Suzy, but also because he saw how attached she is to us, I’m guessing he either want the same or he wants to respect the ones that she trusts, either way, he knows he needs more effort to get our trust.

Chief Lady Hopei thought thoroughly as she heads back into the Tower.

She then returned to the Tower to continue the task that Suzy gave her to do, of course, before the sun rises, she prepared all of her weapons, that was prepared earlier with Faro

After a few hours of Faro walking away from the Zion Village and the Theist Country, he arrived at the bottom of the Zao Hills.

I’m lucky I remembered that there is a building here, I can rent a room or my stay there for at least 3 days or so, I hope they take money as payment or I will have to resort to different methods of payment.

Faro thought.

He then began his climb on the hills’ stairs upward, in order to get to the building above the hills, he need to follow the stairs.

A few hours have passed and Faro’s already halfway the stairs.

This is such a drag, I thought vacations are relaxing, well, I guess I need to actually work hard to get that relax I’m looking for.

Faro complained to himself after finishing climbing half the stairs.

I will definitely just jump down the mountain after my vacation here since even if I take these stairs down after a few days have passed, I need another day to get down, it will surely save me time if I just jumped down.

He continued his complaining but in his head this time.

After another hour has passed he managed to enter the Zao Hills Sanction.

Hello? Is there anyone here?

Faro asked.

Welcome to our Sanction, Faro of the Auden Village, how may we help you?

One of the Sanction Master asked him.

He appeared out of nowhere, that’s surprising.

Faro thought.

Yes, I can appear out of nowhere because I am a being that is connected to this Sanction.

The Sanction Master told him, responding to his thoughts.

So you can read my mind, that’s convenient, I wish I can do that.

Faro said.

Many beings have told us that before, it’s amusing that you aren’t even surprised that we can hear your thoughts.

The Sanction Master said.

Because I’ve met a few beings that could do the same thing, I guess my surprise now is just as half or just a quarter, anyway, I was wondering if I can request something.

Faro told him as he stated his reason for going to the Sanction.

Go on.

The Sanction Master told him.

I have nowhere else to go for several days, I was wondering if the Zao Hills Sanction is a safe place for me to stay in? I’m willing to pay for my stay here, is that possible?

Faro said, asking him if he could stay.

Give me a specific number of days so that I can see if I can allow it.

The Sanction Master said as he heads to the archives counter of the Sanction.

Hmm? I guess 3 days is better than too much, I want to stay here for a week since this place is amazing, but I just want to stay here until the Gallant Battle between the Seven Ancient Villages and Theist Country ends, and if it’s still not finished after 3 days, I can just camp outside.

Faro told the Sanction Master.

Very well, do you know our currency here? I’m asking because I want to make sure if you know.

The Sanction Master asked him.

I don’t really know.

Faro answered.

You can still pay with your gold coins since we can still use them for other things, we accept other payments instead of gold coins since we can’t use any of them, but now that we can, we will.

The Sanction Master said.

And so, Faro’s stay in the Zao Hills Sanction was accepted, after 3 days end, he will have to leave, if he couldn’t leave in time, he will be thrown out using magic, that is what he agreed.

After Suzy told what she will be going to do to the Elders, obviously they all got worried.

Are you sure about this, Suzy?

What if they got you this time?

Why do you need to do this every time? You could have our help in this fight, it’s not as if the world is against us that you have to sacrifice yourself all the time.

The Elders are even questioning her decisions, though this isn’t the first time.

Elders, I know what I said, but you have to understand, everything that the Theist Country knows is that the chaos that happened in the Southeast section is our fault, we have to prove to them that it is not our fault, and me fighting them on my own is our best option, because that way, I can show them that I can equate to the causes of the chaos, death or property damage, what could I lose my title as their Heroine? I don’t even want that title since it is pointless; I think I told this last year as well.

Suzy explained, questioning the Elders and herself.

I don’t want to know how many times I’ve heard that from you, Suzy, but that doesn’t stop me from believing your abilities, just like before, shout and call us if you change your mind and if you need our help.

The Elders told her to be careful before she faces the Theist Country when the sun rises.

After that, she headed out of the Zion Village.

Suzy told the Zionist warriors, asking them.

After they answered, Zion Village was surrounded and heavily defended by the Zionist warriors, not letting any Thespian warriors from entering the Village.

I can’t believe this is happening again, I was lucky last year because the Southeast section surrendered immediately the moment they saw me on the battlefield alone, but this is different, I can’t mess this up, now that it’s happening now.

Faro thought as he was watching the Zion Village from afar.

Chief Lady Hopei is currently above the Village Tower after Suzy left the Village to wait and confront the Theist Country.

Chief Lady, why did you allow Suzy to fight them? You know that this time, they will fight her, the last times are just lucky ones, we know we will run out of luck soon against the Theist Country, and that will be apparent with the other Villages.

And the ones that arrived to attack the Zion Village are the South section, the East section, the Southwest section, and the Northeast Section, they’ve conspired together to attack the Zion Village, a scheme that was anchored by the Southeast section’s destruction.
