I watched Alex as she slept peacefully beside me. We just got home from the party but she fell asleep on the way home so I had to carry her to our bedroom and change her clothes for her. I made her wear my shirt and also removed her makeup for her. When I finished freshening up, I lay down on the bed beside her and covered us both with the duvet afterwards.
The pain and sadness was still very obvious on her beautiful face. I could see that it was troubling her even in her sleep. Her forehead would knot as if she was having a bad dream and then she would sob from time to time in her sleep. If only I could soothe her sadness… I hate that it’s troubling her. I hate that she’s crying over him…
I didn't mean to eavesdrop on them while they were talking back at the garden but
