Chapter 19: Fallen Star

December - Senior Year (Highschool)
Last night was a nightmare. It was terrible.
Alexandra didn't want to wake up yet but the sunlight passing through the slits of the curtain hitting her face made it hard. She sat down on her bed scratched her eyes and took a deep breath.
She stood up to grab a towel and took a shower. After she's done bumaba na siya and it shocked her to see her mom, on the kitchen, on a Monday morning... Doing things she usually does.
"Mom..." sabi ni Alex at tumingin sakanya yung mommy niya She's been crying all night Alex thought. "Dapat nagpahinga ka na lang, kaya ko naman..."
"It’s okay, your dad won’t want that... He'll want us to move on" sabi ng mommy niya.
"Yes but not too fast. It’s just too hard right now..."
