“What’s your plan for today?”
Kumunot ang noo ko sa tanong ni Leila. I was talking with her through a phone call. Hindi ko alam kung anong oras na ngunit alam kong maaga pa dahil hindi pa sumisikat ang araw. I could see the rise of the sun outside my window, but there was none right now.
“Plan?” I asked with a confused tone. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit iyon ang tanong niya sa akin. “I’m going to the company I applied through email,” sagot ko sa tanong niya. I clicked my tongue and thought of what I would do for the rest of the day. “Then, I’ll go home and stay in my room. I have to finish the remaining episodes of the drama I’m watching.”
