Chapter 37 He lay down beside me with a deep sigh. I looked at him and he also look like a mess. A beautiful mess “Sleep, Rain.” I turned to him and grabbed his arm near me and hugged it while I also hold his palm, and tried to play with his fingers, tapping them. I heard him sigh, and he turned to me as well and scooped me closer to him. He removed his arm from mine and gestured me to use it as my pillow instead. He hugged me to his chest and I felt his steady breathing and heartbeat. He stroked my hair as I buried my face on his chest feeling his warmth. I’m grateful that his presence calms me, but I know I also have to be scared for it because I would be dependent on him them, and if things go bad and lose him, I’d be left devastated.
