“Since when did you start being a love guru?” it’s his turn now to make fun of me.
“Just now. Why? Is it effective?” he just laughed
“This is just once in a blue moon, Archer, take it as my gift instead. I didn’t bring you one.” I added. Mahal kaya ang talent fee pag ganyang mga advice. May mga tao kasi diyan na magpapa-advice sa kaibigan tungkol sa mga love life nila tapos matapos lang ang isang araw malalaman mo nalang na bumalik na naman sa pagpapakatanga. O diba? sayang yung advice.
“Ouch. You didn’t bring a gift for me?” the playful Archer is out, he’s acting like his heart hurt while pouting that tempting lips.
“What? You already have everything. Do you want another island to build a resort? I can’t afford that.” I joked and we both laughed although there’s nothing funny about it. Maybe we’re slightly crazy.
“What?” nakatitig lamang ito sakin saka nito kinuha ang aking palapulsuhan at pinaupo sa kanyang tabi.
“Come here.”
“Why?”
“Nothing.”
“Napapadalas na yang pag ‘nothing’ mo” I felt his small laugh as he moved his hand on my waist to pull me closer to him.
“Hmm. Can I ask you something?”
I cannot contain my curiosity anymore.
“Go on.” I hugged my knees closer to me and I stared at the sand in near my toes.
“About Karylle. Is she your…” I don’t know what word to use if I should use the word friend or what. I don’t wanna sound jealous or something because I certainly am not.
“friend.” Tipid lamang nitong sumagot.
“Since when?”
“When we’re 10 I guess? I went to the same school in states.”
“I thought she’s from Italy.”
“She continued her studies there since that’s where his father and grandparents lived.”
“Lived?”
“He passed away months ago so she came back here to live with Tita.” Tumahimik na lamang ako baka kung ano pa ang matanong ko at pagsisihan sa huli.
“Why did you ask?” I can feel his gaze at me.
“Curious?”
“Why are you curious?”
“Of course she’s my father’s new daughter.”
“That’s all?”
“Y-yeah. Ano pa ba.” I know to myself that that is not the reason why I asked him about her but I can’t just tell him, right?
“Jealous, maybe.” I forced not to look at his pulling gaze but I can see on my peripheral vision that he’s smirking.
“Do you think I wouldn’t notice your glances and stares when I was with her?”
“I-I was just curious. Don’t be so full of yourself.” I tried my best to sound sure and not to stutter like a kid caught of stealing a candy but I failed which only made him smile wider.
“Rain? Look at me.” he likes touching my chin whenever he turn my head to look at him.
“Are you jealous?” he looking at my eyes like forcing them to tell him the truth.
“N-no.” I don’t like lying and the gap between our faces is too close and it’s not helping.
“Don’t lie to me, baby.” His voice sounds like a warning and an order.
“I-I’m not jealous.” I avoided his eyes but he just tapped under my chin and made me look at his eyes again.
“Nah-uh. My baby is lying.”
“I’m not your baby.” He just smirked at me before crashing his lips onto mine.
He held my back to prevent me from falling as he continue to move his lips and nibbled my lower lip pulling it gently and made me gasp in the process. The butterflies in my stomach woke up and started to go crazy making me feel… different, I don’t know how to describe it. I did not fight myself anymore when it wanted to close my eyes to feel that euphoric feeling only Archer can give me. He put me under his spell again, I can’t move, I can’t think of what to do, I just want to feel his lips on mine, moving and tasting my lips. My lips parted and another gasp escaped when he passed his tongue on my lower lip after nibbling. His grip on my back tightened and pulled me closer, on the contrary, he’s still kissing me gently although I can feel his restrain not to deepen it.
I don’t know how long the kiss lasts but he pulled away when we both ran out of breath. I just stared at him not knowing what to say.
“You’re not responding.” His eyebrows are creased while looking at me intently.
How bold of you to say that, Archer!
“I-I...” I looked at the sea to avoid his eyes. I can’t just tell him ‘I don’t know how, Archer’ I know he will just laugh at me.
“You don’t know how.” I heard the tone of amusement mixed with amazement or shock in his voice.
Really, Archer? You knew before that you were my first kiss and you expect me to know how to fckng kiss?!
Alam kong namumula na ako ngayon ngunit ano pa bang magagawa ko.
“Hey, baby.” He’s making me look at him but I refused. He’s smiling, he find it funny.
“Rain.” He still sound so amused.
I creased my eyebrows and fight the embarrassment in me and looked at him. I tilted my head as I raise an eyebrow at his smiling face.
“Maybe I should ask Vince to teach me how, so you won’t make fun of me.”
Maybe I should ask Vince how, right? Since he has a lot of experience in girls. That damn playboy. Makakahanap rin ng katapat nun.
His face darken and the smile on his face is now gone. I smirked at his reaction, I knew he wouldn’t like my statement.
“Don’t you dare, Rain Amira.”
“Why not? He could be a good teacher since he has a lot of experien—“
He leaned closer to me and pulled me against him.
“No.” he firmly said before kissing me again, unlike earlier, he’s a bit aggressive now which made me groaned at his action.
“Your. Lips. Are. Mine.” He placed light kisses in between each word he uttered.
“Only mine.” He kissed me again gentler this time.
He stopped “do what I do.” He said brushing his lips on mine as he spoke. He continued kissing me and after a moment of contemplating I let my lips move on their own as if they already know what to do.
Our lips moved in sync and I’m kinda shocked at myself because of how I am responding to his kisses. I did not know I could do this.

We pulled away catching our breaths. And a small chuckle left my lips. Archer as well is smiling at me.
“Damn. I’m crazy.” I can’t believe I just did that. Napahawak ako sa aking noo dahil sa nangyari at sa kahihiyan. I can’t face Archer.
“You did great.” Archer laughed.
“Shut up Archer!” his laugh just grew louder.
Gawd, that was embarrassing.
I felt him caging me in his arms and he kissed temple.
“You did good, you don’t have to be shy.”
“Shh. Shut up.” I felt the movement of his chest as he let out a brief laugh.
He remained hugging me on my side as we stared at the sea in silence. I don’t know how long we stayed like that.
“We should go back.” I said as I moved away from his arms.
“Alright.”
“Help me up.” He helped me stood up and walked towards the shore near the open hall.
A group sitting on the sand called us and as we near them I saw Vince, Hannah, and Karylle, some of their friends are there as well, I recognized Riel. They are sat in a circle, including us, we are all ten.
We joined them and noticed a bottle in the middle of the circle.
