Night passed and now it's 8 pm. Nagpasiya na ako pumunta sa kwarto para makapahinga at mapakain na si Tiger samantala silang lahat ay nasa labas pa at nagiinuman.

Pinaliguan ko muna si Tiger at ginamit ang hair dryer para madaling tumuyo ang fur niya. Hinanda ko ang pagkain niya at naligo na rin ako.

Nanonoud ako ng tv habang si Tiger ay naglalaro naman ng toys niya. Sumagip sa utak ko ang application form. Pinatay ko ang tv at binuksan ang application form. Hay naku, seryoso na ba ito?

Binuksan ko ang music app ko at nagscroll lang kung anon magandang song na gagamitin ko.

After scrolling up and down at nakatulog na si Tiger sa loob ng carrier, I decided that I'll sing the song called If The World Is Ending by Jp Saxe & Julia Michaels at Kung Wala Ka by Hale. I record it few times,just to see kung ano ang maganda. And send it to the email.

I check Tiger if he's still sleeping and he is. Pinatay ko ang ilaw sa kwarto, leaving the bathroom light and the nightlight open. And then I fall asleep.

Morning comes at 8 am. Nagalmusal kaming lahat. Nagready kaming lahat at dahil aalis na kami. 

Sumakay kami sa van and starts the trip. We stop in the mall to eat our lunch. Nagpasiya kaming sa Mang Inasal kumain because we're still craving that inasal and chicken oil.

Habang kumain kami at nagpasya kami ni Missy na magshopping lang muna. Lumabas kami ng Mang Inasal after namin kumain.

"Velvet, wag na wag mong sasayangin ang allowance mo ha?" Mom said as she's holding with Lola Terina.

"Opo, uuwi naman kami bago mag 6 pm eh." I said.

"Oh siya, mauna kaming lahat at para makakain na rin si Tiger." Sabi ni Auntie Renee and we just laugh. Kanina pa kasi nakatingin si Tiger samin habang kumakain eh. He's cute. Lumabas sila ng mall. Missy and I just look together and starts giggling!

We rushes to the Watsons.

"Okay ano ang unang kukunin natin?" she ask. We just looking each other like we know.

"The 10 steps routine!" We scream silently. Kumuha kami ng small cart at nagseperate ways.

Few minutes later ay nagkita kami sa cashier. Tumingin ako sa cart niya. That's a lot.

"Kasya ba ang 5k ko dito or kulang? Dapat 1k below lang." I whisper to her.

I'm trying to be chill and thrift. Alam kong 5k pesos monthly allowance ko pero since from noong nasa ibang bansa pa kami, 3k dollars ang one month ko. That's a lot if icoconvert mo from dollars to pesos.

"Yung akin nga 1k lang ang badyet ko." she said.

At yun na nga nagbayad kami. 700 pesos lang naman ang binayaran ko at yung sa kaniya naman ay 600 pesos. It's a lot of product but we're trying to save money here.

It's 2:30 pm at nagpasiya kaming magnoud ng sine. It's been 2 years? Since we last seen a movie in cinema together.

"Anong gusto mo panourin?" I ask. I know minsan lang siya manoud ng sine kasi nagiipon din siya.

"Action?" she said but her face says it all, no.

"Romance?" I ask.

"We know that romance sucks." She said and we just laugh. People are starting on us pero we don't careeee.

"Horror films!" We both said in sync at bumili agad kami ng ticket ng The Grudge.

Pumila kami para bumili ng snack. Nabiglang nagring ang phone ni Missy.

"Wait kalang." She said then walk away. Bumili ako ng 2 solo popcorn at 2 soda. Hinitay ko lang si Missy hanggang bumalik siya.

"Sorry Velvet, emergency. Kailangan ko daw bumalik pumunta sabi ni nanay." She said. Her face says it all always. She's dissapointed. I smile at her.

"Okay lang naman Missy. Sige, umuwi kana. Ako nalang muna ang manonoud." I said. She sigh.

"Sige, ingat ka sa paguwi." She said and leave.

Hay nako. Magsstart na ang movie in 10 minutes. Pumunta nala ang sa harap ng sine, sa may trail. Tumingin ako sa popcorn at soda. Uubosin ko nalang ba ang popcorn at soda? Large pa naman ang binili ko. Baka magkaroon pa ako ng sakit sa kidney nito.

I notice in my peripheral vision na may tao na pumwesto sa left right side ko but I'm still in down. Namimiss ko na ang sine kasama si Missy. Yung tipong tatawa nalang kami sa mga horror scene tapos magkatabi kaming matutulog sa kama pagkagabi dahil natatakot kami.

"I wonder if Miss Velvet Muñoz would like to have a date with me?" I look at where the voice came. It's Cyxe! He's smiling like an idiot. He's wearing this black t-shirt with black jagger. What the heck is he doing here?

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" I ask. Itinaas niya ang isang plastic na may laman ng shawarma.

"Nakita kita kanina sa loob ng Watsons kasama si Missy habang bumibili ako ng shawarma." He said. 

"I think you're about to see a movie. Where's Missy?" He ask and I look around. Hay nako.

"Tinawag ni Aling Minda, emergency daw kaya eto. Magisa akong manonoud."

"I can go with you." He said and I look at him, then smile.He's like near 5'8 or something. I'm 5'3 and I can tell that's he's taller than me.

"Ano ba ang papanoorin natin?" He put his unoccupied arms in my shoulder and bring me inside the cinema.

"The Grudge." He stops and look at me. What? Is he scared? He look confuse.

"I didn't know you're a brave girl!" He said. Siguro takot ito sa multo.

Binigay ko ang ticket namin sa lalakeng nagrereceive ng ticket at binalik niya sakin. Pumasok kami sa loob ng sine. Commercial pa naman. Nagpasiya kami sa pinakalast kami pwpwesto.

"Sure ka na ito ang gusto mo panourin?" He ask me.

Bibili ba ako ng ticket kung hindi? Ano? Nagsasayang lang ako?

"Yes at kung takot ka, you can go out." At umupo kami. I start eating the popcorn and the movie starts.

Nasa kalagitnaan na kami ng movie where the jump scare is always happening and Cyxe was so funny. He was so scared that he want to go out!

"Vel, labas na ta---Ahh!!" Biglang sumigaw siya kasama ang iba pang nasa loob dito nga sine. I just start laughing. His reaction was priceless. He's hold my hand and squeeze it. It's kinda painful but I can bear with it.

"Ahhhh!!" He scream and look away from the screen. He look towards me. I take his pulse in his wrist and it's beating fast. This dude is really scared.

"Velvet!!!" Sinigaw niya ang boses ko habang ang ibang tao kay ang sigaw Ahhhhh! This dude is crazy!

"Hoy, Cyxe. Hinay hinay lang. Baka mamatay ka dito, hindi ko kayang ipaliwanag kung pano ka namatay." I whisper on him. He look at me and froze. His lips are very sealed. I look at him very careful and he's really scared.

Kinuha ko ang plastic na nilagyan ng shawarma at nilagay lahat ng basura doon. I place it near my feet so I ca see it later. Itinaas ko ang arm rest. Now, he could lean on me a bit when he's scared.

"Anong ginawa mo?"

"Okay na ito. Kapag hindi mo kaya ang makikita mo, just look away and start comforting yourself in my shoulders." I said and tap my shoulder that next to his shoulder. He smile and I start watching to movie again with his scream and complains.

The movie was great but Cyxe's reaction was better. I throw plastic in the trashcan and head to him.

"I don't want to see another scary movie." He said. I just laugh. This dude just sneak to our house and not afraid to get caught but he's afraid of ghost? Hahaha, he's kinda cute.

"It's almost 5pm. What do you want to do?" He ask. Wait, is this a date? He's asking me? Get yourself Velvet! You need to get back to LA after this!

"You're asking me?" 

"Yeah, you want to play in Tom's World?" He ask and I just smile. He hold my hand and we just start running towards Tom's World which is a few steps away from cinema.

"Ilang tokens ang gusto mo?" He ask and looks excited like a baby. Binuksan ko ang mini sling bag ko at kinuha ang credit card.

"Kahit ilan, eto ang credit card ko. Gamitin mo nalang." Binigay ko sa kanya ang credit card pero hindi niya kinuha.

"I'm paying. Just tell me how many you want." He insist.

"No, just take this."

"No, tell me how many you want."

"Basta kunin mo na ito."

"No, sabihin mo nalang kasi."

"Kuya, ate, matagal ba po kayo?" The little girl ask behind us and we didn't even realize that we're already infront of the cashier.

Kinuha ni Cyxe ang credit card ko at pinabayaan ko lang siya. Kukunin pala din naman, nakipagaway pa. Pumunta ako sa gilid and wait for him.

He's holding a medium plastic bag that full of tokens. Hala! Magkano ang ginastos nito?

"Better." He said and gave me the credit card. He's smiling like he's about to wreck this Tom's World.

"Hala gago, magkano lahat na nagastos mo?" I look at him panicking. I know I still have more that 100k sa credit pero jusko, I'm saving also a money.

"3 thousand." He said. I look at him so nervous. I get my phone in my sling bag and open the bank app. He looking at him, confuse.

"What are you doing?" He ask. I check the balance but it didn't decrease expect sa binayaran namin sa Watsons at sine. I look at him and he's just smiling.

"Anong ginawa mo?" I ask.

"May 3k ako sa wallet, sayang naman kung hindi gagamitin." He said and run away from me. I chase him and we start making more tickets.

Halos magiisang oras na kami dito sa Tom's World. We both agree na ako ang magbabayad ng dinner at siya naman ang tokens. As of now, nakagasto kami ng 5k total sa tokens at nastuck kami sa dalawang machine. The tickets are just keep going out.

Katapos namin maglaro ay inayos namin ng mabuti ang tickets. It's soooooo thiiiccckkk. Na pwede na ihampas sa mukha ni Bella ang tickets. We head to the cashier para maging points. Nilagay namin sa points converter ang ticket and guess what? Umabot ng halos 10k ang points.

10,293 points.

Hinug ko si Cyxe. We both happy na 10k sobra ang tickets. From 5k worth na coins into 10k sobra na points!

"Ma'am, Sir, meron po ba kayong Tom's World card?" The lady ask. We both look to each other.

"Meron ka?" I ask. 

"No, do you?" He ask. Lagot.

"Kakalipat ko palang ng bansa, magkakaroon agad?" I said and he just laugh.

"Wala po. Pwede po ba kumuha kami?" I ask. May kinuhang maliit na papel at ballpen ang babae at binigay samin.

"Fill up this and give it to me kapag tapos na." Kinuha ko sa kaniya and it's a form for the card. I give it to Cyxe.

It ask for information. Dalawa kami so pano namin mapaghahatian an isang information? I don't want to be greedy. I look at Cyxe and he's writing it.

"Ako na ang mag-aadjust ng personal information natin." He said.

"Anong gusto mo? Cyxe Velvet Fernandez? Cyxe Kisses Fernandez?" what?

"Velvet Cyxe Fernandez. Kisses Cyxe Fernandez. Velvet Cyxe Muñoz. Kisses Cyxe Muñoz?" He ask. What the heck? Personal information ang sabi hindi dugtong dugtong.

"Ano? Isulat mo nalang ang pangalan mo. Temporary lang naman ako dito sa Pinas eh, mas magagamit mo pa." I said and he start look a bit sad. I smile at him. Sinulat niya ang personal information niya at binigay sa babae. Habang nasa counter siya ay tumingin ako sa isang space na may mga items na pwede maredeem using points.

I notice this plush of Raikkakuma and Korilkkakuma. It's so cute.

Napansin ko na tumingin si Cyxe sa akin. Tumingin agad ako sa claw machine na nasa harap ng prizes. May 2 tokkens pa akong nasa bulsa and I decided to play with it.

Sayang, wala akong nakuha. Medyo ang tagal naman yata para sa pagkuha lang ng card ah. Ang weird. Tumalikod ako para puntahan si Cyxe ng biglang may nagabot sakin ng Korilkkakuma na nakita ko kanina. Tumingin ako kung sino ang nagabot ng plush and it's Cyxe. He's holding the Raikkakuma.

"I thought you like it so I get it." He said in shy voice. Kinuha ko sa kanya ang Korilkkakuma. This Korilkkakuma is cute.

"Thank you." I said and smiles at him. He  raise the Raikkakuma.

"And this is me, okay?" He said with a smile. Hmmm, I remember Cameron. We used to go to the Raikkakuma Con. He even brought a huge Raikkakuma for me na nasa kwarto ko ngayon.

"What's wrong?" He ask with a worry face. I just smiles.

"Wala, kain na tayo. Gutom na ako eh." at lumabas kami ng Tom's World.

We decided na sa Ginger's Wok kami kumain. We order a food. While waiting, I ask something.

"Nagpablonde ka? I notice lang kasi kanina na may blonde ka sa buhok mo eh." I notice kanina sa Tom's World na mix color ang buhok niya. Blonde and black tapos medyo may brown colors rin. He giggles in small voice that made me feel confuse.

"No, I'm actually half American-Irish at Filipino. My dad is a American-Irish while my mom is a Filipino, a Fernandez." He explains and I nod my head. If he's from America, is that mean we could meet in there?

"Nakatira ka sa States? I'm just visiting my relatives pero hindi parin sure kung babalik kami Amerika." I said then the waitress give us the food and we start eating.

"No, dito na kami nakatira since I was 10. My dad and mom usually go back to states, naiwan lang kami dito. Besides, nagaalala rin kami sa kapiatid ko. Bata pa siya, baka ano ang gawin niyan pag magteenager na yan." then he take a bite.

I guess it's true. May freedom sa Amerika. Baka ayaw lang nila magparty or do drugs ang kapatid niya.

"How about you? Saang states ka nakatira?" He ask.

"Sa California, LA. Naglipat-lipat din kami. Una sa West Hollywood, pero we find it creepy doon." He look at me in confuse way.

"What do you mean creepy? You're in Hollywood. Full of stars around the block, how come you'll find it creepy?" He ask.

"Well, nagdecide kami na tumira sa isang place doon then we got this scary vibe. In 2 months, there's a lot of killing, robbery and burglary about the neighborhood. " He nod his head.

"Well,that's creepy." He add and proceed to eat.

"Natakot na kami kaya we decided to move to Atlanta, where my fatherside are." He look at me again.

"We used to live in Atlanta." He said.

"Omg, you do?" I ask him excitedly. He nod and drink a water.

"I live in Atlanta Georgia." I said then make him enlighten.

"I also live in Atlanta Georgia." He said and made me so excited. We could do things. Stroll around in the parks and just around neighborhoods.

"I live in Virginia Highland."He said. That a bit far from Brookhaven.

"Well I live in Muñoz residence."
