“I'm Cyxe.”He said. Ano raw? Sayeksi?

“Sayeksi? Cye?” Tanong ko. Napakamot siya sa ulo at bumigkas.

“Cyxe. Cy-ckse.” Paliwanag niya. Ang weird naman ang name ni Kuya Cyxe.

“And you are?” He ask.

“Velvet, Velvet Muñoz.” Nanlaki ang mata niya ulit and look shookt as heck. What's wrong with his face? Lagi nalang ba shookt?

“You're a Muñoz?” He asked. Alangan pa man na hindi na nakatira nga ako sa bahay ng mga Muñoz.

“Of course.” I said.

“Just pretend you didn't see me and nothing happened. Don't tell anyone that I've been here.” He rushes to the balcony.

“Wait what!?” I said.

“Saan ka pupunta at bakit sa balkonahe ko pa talaga ikaw baba na wala namang tawo sa bahay?” Tanong ko then he stops. He look at me and smile.

“Oo nga no? Sa kusina nalang ako dadaan.” He said. Lumabas kami ng kwarto ko and head out to the second floor.

Damn, this man climb to the trees just to get to Phineas room in the freaking third floor? Wow. Boyfriends talaga.

“Magboyfriend ba kayo ni Phineas?” I ask at nagtinginan kami near the staircase. I start looking around like crazy and look at me.

What the-?

“Mukha ba akong bakla?” He ask and starts laughing.

“Well you look like those BL actors in series I've seen. Hunk having a relationship with another hunk.” I said. He keep laughing then stops.

“Grabe ka naman, magka-band mates kami ni Phineas tsaka hindi ako bakla.” He said then I nod.

“So you think I'm a hunk, ha?” He ask but I just ignore it and rushes to the door, sumunod naman siya.

“So bakit ayaw mong malaman na nila na pumunta ka dito?”Tanong ko sa kanya.

“I'm Fernandez.”He said. Okay I literally stare in the ceiling because Fernandez is a very familiar surname.

“Ano? Pagiisipan mo nalang ba? Hindi mo nalang itatanong sakin?”He said.

I pout then he smile. Why did he smile?

“Bat ka nagsmile? Tsaka you're family name is very familiar.” I said.

“Magkalaban lagi ang pamilya natin sa politics and business.” He said.

I don't really know. Kakarating ko lang at hindi ko alam about that politics and business. I look around the kitchen as if I'm thinking when it's not really. Wala talaga akong maisip.

“My Uncle Wyatt run away with your family member named Ericka, remember?” He said.  Oh! I remember!

“Wait you're Kuya Wyatt's nephew?”

“Yes.”

“Oh my God. How come you became friends with Phineas that literally like f*******n?!” I ask.

He's about to answer the question when we heard the signal that someone's entered in the gate. 

Tumingin kami sa security footage na nasa kusina lang then Missy is back! Omg!

Nagmadali kaming buksan ang pinto sa kusina then he goes out.

“I'll answer everything when we meet again.” He said quietly and smile.

“Make sure to tell me everything.” I smile back to him. He's kinda cute to be honest. I waited until he passes to the fences. Nasa half way na siya ng nagstop siya.

“Hey, about your question earlier. About why I smiled, it's because you're cute when you pouted.” He said with a smile in his eyes and lips then runs to the fences until I can't see him.

He's cute.

But no!

Sinarado ko ang pinto at binuksan ang fridge. Kinuha ko ang tumbler ko and uminom. Then all of sudden, his smile goes back to my memory. I stop drinking water then shout.

“No!”

“No no no no! No freaking way!” I shout.

Sinara ko ang fridge then tumalikod. I see Phineas.

“Anong no no no?” he ask with sarcastic voice and ugly face.

“Wala! None of your business!” I said an pass through him. Hindi ko man lang napansin na pumasok siya na kasama yata si Missy.

Pumasok ako sa kwarto then nilock ko ang balcony door ko. Binuksan ko ang door ng cr, just incase si Tiger ay tawagin ng cr.

Humiga ako then use my phone. I don't have f*******: but I have Twitter and i********:. I search out his name in Twitter.

Cyxe Fernandez.

Hindi ko alam kung Fernandez ang surname niya or middle name basta Fernandez siya. Lots of Cyxe come out from twitter pero hindi ako sure kung siya nga. Walang mga photos, just tweets.

I click all of them and all of them had his picture. I don't know if he's a celebrity in social media or what pero parang fan page ang username @cyxefernandez028 at @cyxefernandezx3982.

The Cxye Fernandez Manheim stood out. I stalk this account then I see this picture of him in black hoodie and with the drum set in the room near the garage ! That's him!

I follow him and sleep beside Tiger.

I wake up because of the loud music from the other room. Tiger lick my face then bark. What a cute dog. I reach for my phone in the side table.

It's already 9 in the morning.

“Phineas! Phineas!” Narinig kong sigaw ni Auntie mula sa labas. Tumayo ako at binuksan ang pinto.

Nakita ko si Auntie na nasa harap ng pinto nang kwarto ni Phineas.  Lumusot si Tiger sa gitna ng legs ko then rushes to Aunt. Phineas opens the door.

“Minimize the volume! Your lola Teresa and Terina are watching tv!” She said. Tumingin si Phineas sakin then I stick out my tounge to annoy him.

I close the door and the aircon. Open the balcony door then I stretch my whole body. I look around to see if I could Cyxe around, but no. I sit for a while then take a shower and head to the kitchen.

Nakita ko sina Lola na nonoud ng tv habang sina Papa at Tito Greg kay may kausap na mga employees. Tito Greg is a mayor of the Alicante while Alejadro Fernandez was the vice mayor.

Walang tao sa kusina kaya naman binuksan ko ang ref at kumuha ng dalawang small cups ng yogurt, mayo, grated mix cheese at strawberry jam.

Kumuha rin ako ng tinapay. Nilapag ko ito sa counter table at kumuha ng beater sa ilalim ng counter table.

I get a pack of Milo, pour in the small bowl with 3 table spoon of hot water and start whisking to make dalgona Milo. After that I get the oat milk from the fridge and pour it in the glass with the dalgona mix also.

I start making the sandwich and I notice that Phineas is standing near the hallway underneath the staircase.

“What the heck are you doing?” He asked and sit in the counter. I also sit.

“My breakfast.” I said and he look confuse.

“A cold oat milk and a whipped Milo, two yogurt and your weird sandwich? Why do you even still making it?” He asked and grabs a cup of water.

“Well, I love it.” I said as I already finish the sandwich and starts eating it.

“Love it? Ew, no one wants to eat it. A mayo, strawberry jam and cheese as a sandwich?”He said as he's pouring the oat milk in his glass.

“Yeah, masarap naman. Wala lang ham, ayokong magluto eh.” I said and take a bite.

Bumukas ang pinto at si Mama ay pumasok. May dala siyang tray at 2 plates.

“Oh, gising na pala kayo.” She said as she's taking out something in the fridge.

“Yep”, I said and take another bite. Nilapag niya ang Chocolate Mousse cake na kinuha niya ha fridge at nagcut ng 2 slices.

“You want some, Phineas?”She asked to Phineas as she's cutting.

“No,thanks Tita. Busog pa ako eh.” He said. Mom know that I don't like eating sweets in mornings. Binalik niya ang natirang cake sa fridge at lumabas ulit.

After kong kumain ay bumalik ako ulit sa kwarto ko. I still need to organize my clothes. As I open my lower cabinet where I would put my socks, I saw a medium floral box. It was placed in the very end of the cabinet kaya kung hindi mo buksan ng todo ang cabinet, hindi mo makikita. Kinuha ko ito at binuksan.

It's from my Tita Ericka!

I sit in the floor and starts looking in to it.

It's a letters from Tito Wyatt. As a scattered it around, I saw 2 pictures. One is Tita Ericka and Tito Wyatt, in their school uniforms and the other one was also them, but outside this small house. They both look so in love. Probably, meron na akong cousin if they end up together. No one in the family knows where they are now.

This house look familiar because of structure of it. I feel like I've been in there. I flip the photo and I saw something.

Please tell my Mom, I'm so sorry. I really love Wyatt. Please forgive me. Loving him was not a sin. All I want is to be with the love of my life! Why I can't be with Wyatt?  Because our families are rival? No one loves me like Wyatt did, not even that Walter Terencio! Please just leave us alone.

And who ever see this, please give this to my niece, Velvet. She's the one I could trust.

Malas. Hindi ko na maremember kung pano pumunta doon. The house really look so familiar. I remember going there with Aunt Ericka when I was 6 or 7. We used to play in there.

Biglang may kumatok sa pinto. Binalik ko ang mga letters at picture sa box at agad na tinago sa cabinet kung saan ko nakita. Tumayo ako at binuksan ang pinto. It's Phineas.

"Aalis daw tayo in 20 minutes. Pupunta sa hot spring." Katapos niyang sinabi ay pumunta siya sa kwarto niya na nakasunod si Tiger.

Hot spring? Nanay Teresa Hot Spring? Its been years since we go there. Isa sa mga business ni Lola Teresa ang hot spring na galing pa sa Great grandma niya. It's own since in 1950 pero hindi naman ginawang business until 1930s.

Sinara ko ang pinto at bumalik sa pagaayos ng mga damit ko. Tinago ko lang ang box in the same spot kung saan nakalagay ito. I hear my phone notifying, a lot. Sunod sunod ang ingay ng notifications. Kinuha ko ang phone ko na nasa kama.

Binuksan ko ito and Phineas texted me.

Oh my god. Phineas is a youtuber? What the? Sa kapangitan niya, youtuber siya? I open Phineas' account and he got 1.5 M followers. Samantalang 1.5k lang ang followers ko.

I found out that he's a member of the band called Fray Lemonade ,along with Cyxe and other band members.

Whatever. Hindi naman kami magkikita na eh. Binuksan ko ang Youtube and then search Fray Lemonade. Wow, they got 2.9 Milliom subs. Binuksan ko and they got a lot of song cover and they also have vlogs.

Binuksan ko isa sa mga covers nila. I Caught Myself by Paramore. Paramore is one of my favorite bands, especially back in the days. Everyone in Tennessee is listening this song because it's Hayley's hometown.

The background is the studio downstairs. They're five members. Si Cyxe the guitarist, Phineas uses drums,  the two boys who uses keyboard and guitar also and then the girl, their vocalist. May mga microphone silang lahat, I assume they all sing.

The voice of the girl was soft, yung parang hindi into these type of song. Hindi nababagay sa voice niya ang mga kanta na ganito. Not being judgemental, I think mas maganda kung jazz or like opm songs na medyo soft na music ang bagay sa kaniya.

I scroll along then I saw their vlog. It's Cyxe, Phineas, the guy with small eyes that use keyboard named Zorreven, they guy with dimples na chinito rin, the another guitarist named Zevon. I assume Zorreven and Zevon are relatives kasi yung name niya sa vlog pareho ang surnames, Serrano. Then Felicia Wu, the vocalist.

The last video na nandoon si Felicia ay last 3 months ago. After yun puro sila na ang kumakanta without Felicia presence in the videos. Weird.

Wait, may nagawa na naman ako? Sinarado ko ang mga bintana at ang balcony door. Kinuha ko ang bag ko at dinala sa second floor.

Nakita ko sila mama, nanonoud ng tv. Nilagay ko sa couch ang bag ko kung saan nandoon din ang mga gamit nila.

“Oh, nandito kana. Hintayin lang natin ang Tito Greg mo at papa mo. Papunta na sila, may binili lang.” She said. I smile and lumabas si Auntie Renee mula sa kitchen na may dalang cookies at nilapag sa coffee table. Kumuha ako ng isang cookies at pumunta na sa first floor kung nasaan ang studio ni Phineas.

Nakita ko sa window ng hagdaan na nagluluto sina Missy kasama ang iba pang kasambahay, nandoon rin sina Lola na tumutulong. Kumatok muna ako bago pumasok sa studio. I open the door and Phineas is looking at me with a poker face in his office chair, infront of the computer. Sinara ko ang pinto.

“What?” I said as I sit in the couch.

May ginalaw siya sa computer at biglang nagpamusic ng Summer Paradise. Patay na nalaman na yata niya. Then I heard my voice. Lagot.

“I can explain.” I said without looking at his eyes.

“I have a proposal. Nalaman ko rin na pumunta si Cyxe dito kagabi at hindi ko gusto na malaman ng sino man except kay Missy na pumupunta dito ang apo ng Fernandez. Papatayin ako ni Papa.” He said as he open the mini fridge and get a soda from it. He open it and take a sip.

“Ano na proposal? Pag ako an mapagtripan mo naman Phineas, isusumbong kita kay Lola.” I said then sit in the couch comfortably.

“I want you to be our new vocalist.”
