"The battle between the U.S. Marines and the Cuban terrorist group continued for thirteen weeks. It was one of the battles I wish I didn't see as a journalist. Grenades were thrown everywhere, dead people lined up on the side of the road, gunmen roaming the streets— torturing women and children. The Marines would stop them, capture, and kill. But everyday, the number of this terrorist group would escalate like crazy. Two more units were sent to Cuba to assist the remaining soldiers. The final assignment was to capture the head of the group who was hiding in a certain Caribbean island, and that mission was called the Operation Phoenix.
