"We are here, Maam." Inangat ko ang phone ko ang looked at the reflection of me on my phone's screen.
"You know, you can still back out," sabi ni Hanna sa akin.
She wanted to come and witness how would I do. If I would allow, gu- gustuhin niya pa nga na sumama sa loob and sit on the next table to have live updates of the blind date.
"I can't na, Hanna. This time, Mom will really burn all my bags if I ditch this last minute and I will just end up in despair. Besides, ginusto ko 'to."
I looked at her at lukot pa rin ang noo niya, halatang nag a-alala but there's nothing to worry about, really. I certainly can handle myself. Lalaki lang iyon.
