Ilang beses na akong sulyap nang sulyap sa phone ko and numbers of texts and calls are flooding onto my screen but none of it was from that one person that I am expecting to text and call me. Not even one single text.
"Job well done, Miss Alejo!" Engineer Lee tapped my back to get my attention. Itinago ko ang phone ko sa purse ko and then I faced him. "We can't wait to materialize all your vision for the resort."
"I can't wait too, engineer. I have been really looking forward for people to see what I saw," naka ngiting sabi ko. "It is a huge relief na kayo ang ka partner namin rito sa project. I am sure that you will never disappoint."
"Not a pretty lady like you, for sure," he complimented.
