Nahj brought me in a botique to personally buy the little stuffs for my wedding tomorrow. Gusto ko kasi na i-hand pick ang mga gagamitin ko sa isa sa mga pinaka malaking araw sa buhay ko.
"Is this pretty?" I showed Nahj the white gloves na napili ko at bigla naman siyang parang nakakita ng multo at agad na ibinulsa ang phone ko na ipinahawak ko sa kaniya.
"What were you doing?" I asked him, pero he just shook his head at nilapitan ako to kiss my forehead. I know something was off, pero hinayaan ko nalang dahil I don't want to ask him just for him to answer a lie.
I kinda know Nahj's way. He would lie thinking na it would be better to lie than to tell the truth. When in fact, lying would only make the situation worse and could even ruin the whole relationship.
