“Hi tita mom i miss you too” bati nya pabalik kay tita pero sakin nakatingin.kinabahan tuloy ako na hindi ko maintindihan.ang lakas ng kabog ng dibdib ko habang naka tingin sya sakin.
“By the way this is my beautiful niece Rashina Andal,she will be staying with us while she will study here.and anak this is Adam Peterson pamangkin sya ni uncle James mo” pakilala ni tita samin,
“Hi” hello”magka sabay namin sabi,
“Hi nice to finally meet you!” Ani nya sakin sabay lahad ng kamay.
“Hello nice to meet you too” ani ko at tinanggap ang pakipag kamay nya sakin.pero yong kaba ko lalong lumakas kaya binawi ko agad ang kamay ko at nagyuko ng ulo.
“Lets go inside its cold here,”at binuksan nya pinto para sa akin likod ng driver at katabi ko naman si tita sa likod at sa harap naman umupo si uncle tabi ni Adam. November ngayon at nasa end of fall/autumn na daw dito kaya malamig na,nasa labas ako nakatingin sa mga ilaw at building na nadadaanan namin,pag angat ko ng tingin ,nakatingin pala sakin si Adam tapos balik sa kalsada ang tingin. Haaay ano ba ito bakit sa tuwing titingin ako sa kanya eh ang lakas ng t***k ng puso ko, may sakit na ba ako? Na sobrahan yata ako sa kape.sa wakas naka rating din kami sa bahay,maganda bahay nila tita .
“Anak ito magiging kwarto mo,at yong katapat naman yon kwarto ni Adam pero bihara yang bata na yan dito kaya tayo tatlo lang andito, yong katabi naman na pinto yan kwarto namin kaya kumatok ka lang kung may kailangan ka,”sabi ni tita at tumango lang ako,
“Salamat po Tita,” tipid kong sabi sabay tipid na ngiti,
“Anak, sana makita ko ulit yong dating Rashina na masayahin” malungkot na sabi ni tita .
“Ok lang po ako Tita,Salamat po”tipid akong ngumiti sa kanya.
“Sige maiwan na kita at magpa hinga ka na rin at mag hahating gabi na, goodnight anak” beso nya sakin sabay yakap,naiiyak na naman ako, namisa ko na si mama,
“Goodnight po tita” at lumabas na ito ng pinto, brrrr ang lamig pala talaga dito, pumasok ako sa banyo at nakita ko ang ganda ng banyo,nang warm half bath ako para makatulog na.
Adam pov
I went to the airport with dad to pick up tita mommy,she’s not my real mom or blood related but i call her mommy because for me she’s like a mother,my dad married her when I was a kid.first time met her she was so nice and loving and until now,thats why I love her so much,and I can see that my dad is very happy with her so who i am to stop my them? He is not my real dad but i call him daddy because he is the one who raised me took care of me since my parents died when i was 5 yrs old.
“Dad I will stay here in the car and call me when you guys are outside so i can drive closer to the door,” said to my dad,
“You don’t want to come with me inside? Your mom would be happy to see you inside” dad anawer
“Naa i just wait you guys here, and I don’t like going inside but please don’t tell her that I am here,” i ask him, I want to surprise mom.few minutes later they are walking towards where i park close to the door, oh they with someone,wait she looks familiar,hmmm where did i saw her? Ohh yeah now I remember,the photo in our living room.so it means she’s going to stay here? I hope for good”
“Ohh my!!! I miss you sweetheart” mom hug me so tight although she’s shorter but she never fail to hug me tight,i kiss her and hug her back.
“I miss you too mom, how’s your vacation?” I asked
“It was okay, its not totally vacation.my eldest sister last week,” she said
“Oh im so sorry mom for your loss,I didn’t know” now I feel bad about it.
“ don’t worry about it sweetie, I already accept it that our lives is so short,”I agree what she said that’s why if I have a chance I will grab it right away no more buts,oh f**k why i am thinking that?
“Oh before I forget I would to introduce you my beautiful niece Rashina, and Rashin this i Adam my step son,” she says
“Hi,hello” we greeted each other ohh jeez her hand fit right to mine,i can’t take my eyes off her,she’s more beautiful in person.
“Nice to meet Rasi” damn I forgot her name,
“Rashina,nice to meet you too”she said while smiling, damn those lips is so f*****g tempting!
“Let’s get inside,its getting late” dad interrupt us.so I open the door for her.she’s beautiful but those eyes looks so sad, hmmmm i want to see that smile again,fuvk I am in trouble big time!
“Goodnight mom ,dad, rasi.”she’ just nodded at me and I went upstairs. I can’t sleep grrrr its already 2am jezzz, I get up and may be i need some wine to help me sleep. I went out my room to get a glass of wine,I chose the çasal garçia (Portuguese wine).
Rashina pov
Hmmmm ano ba to hindi parin ako makatulog, namamahay yata ako, bumangon ako at nag punta sa kusina para kumuha ng gatas,brrrr ang lamig talaaga,kumuha ako ng milk sa fridge and i heat it microwave para warm sya, nag hihintay ako na matapos ang pag init ng gatas ng may nag salita sa likuran ko,
“You also can’t sleep?” “Ay kabayo na malaki!” Grabi naman to parang kabute lang,
“Ahhahahhaha sorry if I startled you,” sabi nya habang tumataw. Tiningnan ko sya naka pajama ng black at sando na white, grabi nama to malamig na naka sando pa at hmmm may masel naman kahit paano pero di naman masyado,
“Do you like what you see?”At ang luko naka smirk pa.
“Ummm what do you mean?” Tanong ko sa kanya akala nya siguro purihin ko sya,
“You eye rapping me” saad nya,aba mahangin din pala to akala ko sa pinas lang yong mahangin,
“Wow really? What a statement!” Sabi ko na may palakpak pa kasama “I was just wondering why you are wearing that thingy top when it’s cold.anyway I forgot that you live here.so cold doesn’t bother you” dadag ko sabi,at tiningnan ko sya from head to toe,
“”Naa I’m used to it and this is where I was born” sabi nya pa,
