CHAPTER 02

I ended up buying nalang tuloy sa isang store here. Sa tapa't lang naman 'yon nung Hospital. They sell burger there and looks like masarap naman so I will buy there. Mukhang kasya naman ang money ko, eh.

Alot of students are there waiting for their burger to cook. The lady inside will give it to us if our order is finally cooked. There's some seat naman do'n but the problem is there's only one seat left because of how many the students have sat na already. I saw a old lady, O guess she's at her 70's or something. Parang galing s'ya sa Hospital kanina kasi I can still recognize her face. I saw her earlier.

Even if I'm the one who got there first and saw the sit first, I should give the seat to her. It's not big deal naman for me because she need that seat for her to rest. I mean, she's really old na and she is just by herself. I would only feel guilty if I let her stand there. I didn't hesitate to talk to her saying that she can sit there, I will just stand.

"No it's okay po," She refused because she said she's embarrassed because I'm the first one to get that seat.

"Salamat hija. Napaka-bait mo naman." She thanked me. I gave her a smile. I also assisted her to sit because I noticed that she could barely move. Wala ba s'yang kasama? I hope she have someone to take good care of her.

I told the Lady what I'm gonna order. It's only two burger and mineral water for us lang naman ni Kuya Riley. He said he don't want to eat alot because he don't want to gain weight, I can't believe he is being conscious for a thing that didn't even matter at all. Like who cares if you're that fat, are we supposed to enjoy eating while we are alive? They don't get it.

I waited for the Lady to serve my order. I'm a bit hungry na pero I would just wait for her to finish cooking my order. It's not like I'm that hungry na but I am sure I'm hungry.

"Neng one hundred 'toh," I nodded and gave her a one hundred pesos. Buti nalang at hindi buong one thousand ang pera ko. Sometimes kasi ay buong one thousand 'yon sa I have no choice but to tell them 'Keep the change'.

As soon as I got my order I already left. After walking I saw Kuya Reziel walking towards the Hospital. I already know that he came from his Bar near. Sadya n'ya daw 'yon pinatayo doon because he said he wants it to be close sa Hospital. Which is a few years nalang ay s'ya na ang mag-mamanage. He's so smart like my friend! They definitely have the same brain. I wish I have that kind of brain. But I'm already contented on what I have right now. I'm glad I can pass my exams without getting to review it, sometimes.

"Hi Kuya," I greeted him when he went on his way. Nasa tapa't kami ng Hospital and we weren't entering yet. I already expected that he doesn't have a flight today, I guess? Hindi naman s'ya naka-pang piloto, eh.

"Bakit ka nandito?" He asked while kooking at his Rolex watch he just bought last month ago.

"I went out to buy food for us," I said referring to me and Kuya Riley. I saw him nodded and gestured his hands saying that we should walk na towards the Hospital.

While we were walking sa lobby ng Hospital ay I can already see some Nurses and other people inside the Hospital adoring my brother. I'm used to it, it happens every time I'm with my two brothers. I just smiled knowing that I have a really good looking brothers. I'm proud of them.

"Where is Riley? I need to talk to him," He asked.

"Ooh I think he's at Daddy's office." I answered. I'm about to go there to give Kuya Riley his burger. Actually kanina pa daw s'ya nag-cacrave ng burger ka 'ya I chose burger nalang.

It's almost night so wala ng masyadong tao sa Hospital. Maybe there were some people pero sila 'yung mga taga bantay sa naka-confine.

"Is she good?" He asked when we're at the elevator. I looked at him with a confused face. Who is that 'she' he referring to?

He already know that I don't get it. I mean I get it naman that she's asking me. But the thing is I don't know who is the one he is referring to.

"Rein," He uttered. My eyes widened when I heard that. But suddenly I remembered what happened in the past. My friends have no idea that I know and I've witnessed the story of Kuya and Rein. I'm just pretending that I don't know anything. It's not because I want to hide it from them but I can feel that Kuya and Rein don't want to talk about it anymore.

"She's good, without you." I really did my best not to hurt him because he is my brother by blood, but I just couldn't stop myself. I love my brother, but I could not betray my friend.

"Good for her." He faked a smile. I already know that it's a fake smile, I know him well.

When the elevator got up to the floor we pressed, we left the elevator. I don't know why Kuya wants to see Kuya Riley. I literally have no idea! Like they hide some things nga to me eh, wow hah.

As soon we saw Daddy's office we entered it. I saw Kuya Riley playing games again like he always do. Ayon lang naman ang pinagkakaabalahan n'ya. Seems like engineering is just easy for him. And oo nga pala! I just remembered that he is the one who designed Kuya's bar. More like he is a architect huh.
