He wants a virgin wife

Chapter 05 Brianna finally looked up at Blake, and he noticed that her sapphire eyes seemed to have a hint of green, but they looked so sad and empty, locking them with his icy gray hues. There was something about his eyes that captured Brianna as well and lured her in. She felt a shiver run down her spine, and strange sensations coursed through her veins, which caused her stomach to experience peculiar sensations. He moved back away from the woman standing in front of him and finally stepped inside the restroom with a meaningful smile. Brianna was still stunned at her spot as she stared at the closed door of the restroom. She was disappointed by the loss of their connection, since she didn't expect that Hailey's fiancé would be more handsome on a closer look. And he was quite possibly the most handsome man she'd ever seen in her life. Her train of thought was abruptly cut off by the sound of heels clicking closer, prompting her to dash to the back door and fling it open before stepping outside. Nobody in the house could find out that Blake had seen her. "Blake!" Hailey's sweet voice rang out, a stark contrast to the harsh tone she usually used with her, followed by a loud knock on the restroom door. Brianna's eyes went wide as she pressed herself against the back door, her heart racing in her chest, terrified that Hailey would catch her. "Blake, are you done?" Hailey asked, her tone a bit suspicious. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help you out. Your mom was talking to me, and I didn't notice you leaving the dining room." "It's all good. I'm done anyway," he replied, scanning the room for that beautiful woman he had seen earlier. Blake frowned as he noticed the similarities between her and Hailey—their hair color, eyes, and figure... 'But that woman was way more gorgeous, and she had this innocent vibe about her. Plus, she was hotter too,' he thought. They could totally be sisters. But there was no way that the Parker family wouldn't let a relative join the lunch. If she was Hailey's sister, she'd be at the dining table, eating lunch with them. "Is there any problem, Blake?" Hailey hooked her arm around his, purposely rubbing her breast against him, which made the muscle in his jaw clench. His face hardened, looking at her with a frown as she started flirting with him. "Are you looking for someone?" Hailey's expression sharpened when she realized Blake might have spotted Brianna. Her fiancé couldn't see her! She was tired of her cousin stealing the hearts of every guy she liked. She recalled the first time she brought her boyfriend home. Jake couldn't take his eyes off her cousin. That same day, Jake broke up with her, saying he didn't love her enough to stay in their two-year relationship. Hailey's second boyfriend was spotted with Brianna too. She saw them talking in the garden and even overheard him getting her number. After that, she decided to keep her boyfriends and flings out of the house, opting to meet them outside or have one-night stands at hotels. Now that she was about to marry Blake, the man of her dreams, she was determined not to let Brianna take him away this time! "I just want to thank your maid for helping me earlier," Blake said, making Hailey smile since he thought Brianna was just a maid. "Don't worry about it, babe. That's their job. Let's head back to the table," she said, pulling him back to the dining room with a playful grin. "Hailey, sweetie, we were talking about the chance of you working for Blake's company after you finish college. What do you think?" Mrs. Miller asked, causing Daphne to nearly choke on her wine. Her stepdaughter was as dumb as a rock, and lazy as a toad. She never wanted to work. "My daughter has already started investing and is making a decent amount of money. I doubt she’d want to work with her future husband," John remarked, sipping his wine while giving Hailey a sideways look. "It’s probably best for her to stay home and take care of her husband’s needs, right, sweetheart?" "Yes, daddy!" Hailey replied, her eyes darting nervously between them. "Wow! I'm really impressed! At such a young age, she already knows how to invest. You must be so proud of her," Mr. Miller said with a smile as he watched Hailey take a seat next to her stepmom after Blake pulled the chair for her. "Yes, of course!" John exclaimed. "Hailey is not only beautiful, but also the smartest woman I've known. She's the best daughter a father could wish for." Daphne smiled meaningfully in response to her husband's comment. Daphne met John through a friend. He was a widow, and was living with his brother and daughter in the countryside. After a guy she liked turned her down, she shifted her focus to John. They dated for a few weeks before he introduced her to his daughter. Although she had some doubts about accepting Hailey as her own, she eventually embraced her completely. Initially, things were a bit awkward, but once Daphne showered Hailey with love and attention, she accepted her as a mother without hesitation, and even loved her more than her biological mother. The lunch ended without any final details because Blake was called by his personal assistant on the phone, telling him that there was an emergency meeting at the office. The lunch wrapped up abruptly when Blake's personal assistant called him about an emergency meeting at the office. "I’ll just call Hailey to discuss our wedding. It was great meeting you all," Blake said as he got up from the table and left Parker's residence. "Dad! What should I do now?" Hailey screeched, her teary eyes widened in fear. "Blake wants a virgin wife!" After the Miller family left, Hailey received a text message from Blake. The content of the message was, 'I'll notify you if I'm not busy. I want you to come to my penthouse so that we can talk about the wedding preparations. I also want to make sure that I'm your first. I want a virgin wife.' "Dad, he--" Hailey was cut off by a hard slap coming from her father, causing her to fall backwards onto the sofa. Tears streamed down her face from the sting of his blow. She pressed her hand against her cheek, trying to ease the pain. "John, stop!" Daphne intervened, stepping in front of her husband as he lunged to hit Hailey again. "What’s wrong with you? Why would you hit your daughter?" "Get out of my way!" he barked, shoving her aside and kicking Hailey in the stomach, his anger palpable. "Dad, please!" Hailey cried out, bewildered by her father's sudden violence. She curled up, holding her stomach. "Why did I do? Why are you punishing me?" "You're a b***h, that's why?!" John exclaimed, pacing back and forth in the living room angrily. "You're such a slut for having s*x with different men! Now you're about to lose the opportunity of marrying the most influential man in the country! Why did God give me a daughter like you?" "Dad, I... I don't know why he wants a virgin wife. You know... you know that it's impossible for him to find one, right?" she stuttered in fear but started crawling towards her father and kneeled in front of him while clutching his pants and sobbing. "Dad, he... he will never find out that I'm not a virgin anymore. Believe me, I will do anything..." "Shut up!" John kicked her once more, making her groan and wince in pain. "Shut the f**k up, Hailey! I don't want to hear anything from you. You always cause trouble, and I hate you for that! b***h!" "Dad, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..." Hailey sobbed loudly, hugging her father's leg. "Sweetheart, don't hurt our daughter. You know she's just enjoying her life." Daphne tried to defend Hailey but it only resulted in John shooting her an angry glare. "Don't worry. We can find a way to settle this. I can find a way. Trust me. We’ll figure this out, I promise. Just don’t hurt our daughter anymore."
