I slept in the midst of thinking. When I woke up it was already past seven. I was covered with a thick blanket. Mabilis na pumasok sa isip ko si Sir Liam. What happened yesterday was still fresh on my mind. Remembering it makes me lost my senses. I was out for a moment. Napabalik lamang ako sa wisyo nang may kumatok sa pinto.
"Are you awake? The breakfast's ready," It was Sir Liam. His voice was hoping, it was visible. I stayed still and wait for his next words. It took him long enough to continue. "Let's.. let's eat together. I'll wait for you."
I pursed my lips. Hindi iyon ang inaasahan kong marinig mula sakanya. Dahan-dahan ay umupo ako sa gilid ng kama. Huminga ako ng malalim at tumayo. Nang hawakan ko ang doorknob ng pinto ay hindi ko agad iyon pinihit. Eating together
