I deeply frowned as I was staring at Jian with his girlfriend, sitting on the small bench.
"I already told you, Genieva, may girlfriend na siya!" Lexie whispered and hit my arm lightly.
I glared at her. "Who are you to hit me?" inis kong tanong at umirap sa kanya.
I heard her heaved a sigh. "Okay, I'm sorry."
I looked again on Jian but I almost fall on the ground when I caught him glanced at me!
I turned my back against his side with my eyes wide opened.
"What are you doing?" Reine asked me, still hiding behind the tree where we are.
"Jian looked at me!" I replied and covered my face before I ran away from that place.
"Genieva!" I heard them called me but I still continued running towards the restroom.
I looked at the wide mirror in front of me.
My cheeks were burning out of embarassment.
Jian caught me! What the hell!
"You did not see it? Genieva looks like a thirsty desperate girl kay Jian! She thinked he'll like her back? Oh my god, nananaginip pa ata siya," nag-pantig ang tenga ko sa narinig.
My eyes darted on the entrance of the restroom and I saw Mika and her friends entered inside.
They seemed surprise but it their reaction faded right away and shot their brows at me.
Mika rolled her eyes at me. "So how was the thick-face, thirsty and desperate Genieva? Ayos lang kaya siya?" parinig niya sa akin sabay humalakhak maging ang mga kaibigan niya.
I gritted my teeth and shot a brow at them.
I crossed my arms against my chest.
"So how's the ugly slut mean girl-wanna-be too, Mika?" I fired back and advance a step.
Her lips parted in shocked and looks like I quickly pressed all of her buttons.
I laughed hilariously and lightly tapped her cheek repeatedly.
"Kunwari ka pang maldita eh matatahimik ka rin naman kapag sinagot kita. Back off, b-tch," sabay irap ko at bunggo sa balikat niya bago lumabas ng restroom.
I let out a sigh and ruffled my hair a bit.
Nakakairita talaga ang mukha niya.
Makita ko pa lang sirang-sira na ang araw ko.
Damn it.
"Genieva!" I turned to Reine and Lexie who was running towards me.
I licked my lip. "What?" I boredly asked and started to walk to the cafeteria.
We still have class after lunch but we still have a few minutes more before it starts.
"Why did you left us there! Nakakahiya kay Jian! He might think that we also like him!" Lexie ranted and they were following me behind.
Umismid ako. "Where's my list?" I asked her.
She took it out of her skirt's pocket and handed it to me. "Here."
I crossed my arms and looked at her over my shoulder. "Don't give that to me. Crossed Jian's name there," I told her and she immediately obligue.
"Who's next?"
Reine peeked on my crush list.
I flipped my hair and stopped on the side of the cafeteria.
"Just say it in a low voice. Someone might here you," I told them and they nodded.
"Next is Marco," my brow shot up when I immediately saw Marco walking towards the cafeteria.
Umayos ako ng tayo bago nilabas ang ballpen ko sa pocket ng skirt ko.
"Okay. Stay there," sambit ko bago sinimulang maglakad papunta kay Marco.
He was just alone. Wearing his white polo with his loosened red necktie paired with a dark blue slacks and a black pointed shoes.
His hair was pushed back with a gel. He looked so neat and manly.
I pressed my lips.
And when I am already nearing him, I acted like I dropped the pen on his way.
Marco glanced at me before he bend over to get my pen and gave it back to me.
"Oh, thank you," I said and got the pen from him.
BUT, I made sure that my hand will touch his.
Napatingin siya roon bago nag-iwas ng tingin at tumikhim. "You're welcome," he replied before walking away from me.
I bit my lips as a smile slowly crept on my lips.
"Grabe! Kapag nag-hagis din kaya ako ng ballpen may Marco na magbabalik sa akin?" singit bigla ni Lexie at tumawa.
"Oo nga. What's your pen? Maybe I can do that too," sabi naman ni Reine.
I laughed and smirked. "Feeling ko, magiging sucessful na ako rito. Pang-ilan na ba siya?" tanong ko sa kanila.
Tiningnan ni Lexie ang list.
"Pang-98 na lalaki," tumango ako.
100 boys lang ang nasa crush list ko at pangatlo na sa huli si Marco. Sana talaga maging sucessful na siya.
"I want to buy foods first, Genieva," si Reine sabay himas sa tiyan niya.
Umismid ako. "Edi bumili ka. Gusto mo pa bang samahan kita?" pagtataray ko at umirap.
Sumimangot siya sa'kin bago umalis na papasok ng cafeteria.
"Una na kami sa room, Reine!" sigaw ni Lexie at patalikod lang na kumaway si Reine. Hinarap ako ni Lexie. "Let's go back to room na," I nodded and just walked beside her.
My eyes darted on Greige who was walking with Bella, our classmate, sa second floor ng highschool department.
I frowned and my brows furrowed.
"Bakit ka naka-simangot diyan?" tanong sa akin ni Lexie habang papataas na kami sa second floor kung nasaan sina Greige.
Greige Cole Morall, is also on my crush list. Crush ko siya pero may mga oras talaga na inaayawan ko siya dahil napaka-pakielamero niya.
Palagi niyang pinagtatanggol si Bella kapag pinagti-tripan ko siya. Umirap ako sa isipan ko.
Magkakasalubong na kami nina Greige. I looked at Bella. She was the complete opposite of me.
Bella was the shy type girl, mahinhin, tahimik lang, at pala-aral.
Ang pinagka-pareho lang namin ay hindi naman ako pabaya sa pag-aaral. Palagi kong pinapahalagahan ang pag-aaral ko. I don't have a failed card even once. My grades never reached ninety-four and below, puro ninety-five lang pataas.
Greige looked so entertained whenever I see him together with Bella.
What's with that girl?
'Di hamak na mas maganda pa naman ako diyan. Parang daliri ko lang ang level ng kagandahan niya kaysa sa akin na sobrang angat sa kanya.
I tsked when they passed by us but they didn't even glanced at me!
I rolled my eyes and just entered our room.
As usual, every classroom on highschool building were noisy. May naghahabulan, nagbabatuhan ng kung ano-ano, ang mga mag-girlfriends and boyfriends naman ay naghaharutan lang sa gilid. At ang mga.. iba kong weird classmates ay nagdo-drawing na naman siguro sa unahan.
We sat in front, facing the board.
Nagsi-tigilan ng pagbabatuhan ang mga lalaki sa unahan ng makita nilang umupo na ako sa malapit sa kanila.
Subukan nilang mabato ako ng kung ano, guidance agad ang bagsak nila.
"Anong grade na nga si Marco?" tanong ni Lexie at nilabas ang phone niya.
Nangalumbaba ako sa desk at tumitig sa board.
"Grade 11," I answered.
"11? Ilang taon na?"
"17."
"Hmm.. isang taon lang pala ang agwat niyo eh. May pag-asa ka pa," I frowned.
"Stalk mo nga siya sa f*******:. Check his status as well as his posts," tumango siya at ginawa ang sinabi ko.
"Single siya. Tsaka.. wala siyang gaanong post or shine-share. Hindi siguro siya active sa Facebook."
I took out my phone and immediately sent him a friend request sa lahat ng socials na meron siya at meron din ako.
Dumako na naman ang tingin ko sa kapapasok lang na sina Greige at Bella.
Greige was holding a book while Bella was just.. being ugly walking towards her seat.
Umirap ako ng pinaghatak pa siya ni Greige ng upuan.
"Gentleman effect pa, eh kay Bella lang naman ginagawa," wala sa sarili kong bulong at inis na humalukipkip.
"What are you saying?" litong tanong ni Lexie.
"Wala. Manahimik ka na lang. Naiinis ako ngayon."
She looked at me for a few more seconds before she nodded and minded her own business beside me.
I gritted my teeth and stalk Greige account.
I don't care if he'll see me stalking his account.
His status was single.
His profile was just his silhouette—no, it WAS a girl's silhouette!
Is that Bella's?
What the hell. Are they already in a relationship?
No way! Greige is also on my crush list!
So ibig sabihin failed na naman?
Dalawa na lang ang matitira?
"Lexie," I called her and she turned to me.
"Why?"
"Pang-ilan si Greige?"
"Morall?"
Umirap ako at tumingin sa kanya. "Sa tingin mo ba may iba pa bang Greige dito sa school, Lexie?"
Umismid siya. "Ito na nga. Titingnan ko na. Ang sungit mo talaga kahit kailan," she mumbled and quickly looked at my list.
"Pang-100," sagot niya. Tumango ako bago sinulyapan muli sina Bella.
So pang-last siya.
I don't care about that Bella.
If I won't be sucessful on the 98th and 99th on my crush list, I will really make sure to finally make it on the 100th.
