HIS REASON

Third Person POV

Hindi mawala sa isipan ni Xiah ang mga napag-usapan nila ni Yuan kahapon.

'Why do it need to be like this?' tanong niya sa kaniyang isipan.

Flashback

"So what are we going to talk about?"Xiah asked while tapping the table with her fingers.

"About us...I mean our past..I just want you to know why I did that..."somehow Xiah looked stunned while nervousness is drawn on Yuan's face.

What if he really has a valid reason?

"Malapit ng bumagsak yung kompanya namin that time kaya pumunta ako ng Canada and it turns out na Boulstridges offered a merging and my parents came up with the idea of an arranged marriage since Cassidy is my first girlfriend...and if I refuse on marrying her mas pababagsakin nila ang kompanya namin that's why I don't have a choice...umuwi kami ng pinas and it's because they asked me to break up with you so I can't do anything because they threatened me.."malungkot na pagsasalaysay ni Yuan habang nagfa-flashback naman kay Xiah ang nangyari noong panahong yun.

Xiah's Flashback in her mind

"Hey l-love h-how's your s-stay at C-canada?"I asked wala naman kasi siyang sinabi na wala na kami so I called him love pa din.

"Don't.....don't call me love."he coldly said without looking at me,

"W-why?"I asked sadly.

"We're done."

"Why?Yuan? before you leave here you love me right? Right Yuan? I waited for you to come back so you're here already y-you love m-me right?"my tears started falling like a waterfalls.

"I fell out of love and I'm already happy with my fiancee."he simply said.

"N-no,n-no.....you're just lying I know you—-

"Enough saying stupid things Xiah! I'm already engaged and soon to be married so stop this bullshits!!!"sigaw niya.

"I'm sorry I think we're not really meant for each other Xiah..... I don't want you to miss all the things that someone else can give you."mahinahon niyang sabi and again he left me dumbfounded...

End of Xiah's flashback in her mind

Hindi namalayan ni Xiah na may tumulong mga luha sa kaniyang mga mata. Si Yuan naman ay ipinagpatuloy ang pagpapaliwanag.

"In your graduation day i'm watching you from afar saying your message and it hurts that you didn't even mention me there and I suddenly remembered that I broke your heart..I also heard that your going to France accepting Ms.Sommerville's offer and it really broke my heart into pieces..I know i'm such a jerk for hurting you but I really don't have a choice but to do it....I really am sorry for everything and i'm not hoping that you'll forgive me easily... I know i don't have the guts to tell you this but my feelings for you didn't change at all..it's still the same......love....and don't worry I won't be bothering your relationship with Jax but please don't avoid me and can you even just consider me as your friend?"Yuan sincerely asked and Xiah just nodded while wiping the tears that escaped on her eyes.

"Uh I also felt wroth when I saw you crying on the seacoast and the time you told me that it's beacuse of Jax I got literally indignant but then I realized that I'm the one who afflict you the most so I just gave you solace for you to be okay..."

"That's enough reason for me to forgive you...Even if I won't be forgiving you nothing will changed and it will never change the fact that you hurt me while you can just tell me about your problem before you break up with me...apologizing can't make your mistakes right it'll just ease the pain i'm baring for the past years..even though i'm very happy with Jax,it doesn't change the fact that i'm baring pain because of the reasons you told me before we broke up..You just told me that you fell out of love and you're happy with your fiancee Yuan! That's your fvckin' reason! Sana manlang sinabi mo na lang ang totoo para naman kahit papaano siguro mabawasan ang sakit!"nagpunas ng luha si Xiah bago tuluyang umalis. Si Yuan naman ay hiningi sana ulit ng tawad pero umalis na si Xiah.

Xiah's POV

I can't believe that Cassidy's parents just threatened Yuan just for her to be happy?

Medyo gumaan na ang pakiramdam ko tuwing nandiyan ang presence ni Yuan because he already apologized and explained at the same time.

"Wife ang lalim ng iniisip mo."

"Yeah right."umirap ako. "So how's your day with Chesca yesterday?"sarkastikong tanong ko.

"Sh*t wife! She just apologized because of what she did and she asked me if I can accompany her on buying some things!"

"I'm just asking how's your day with her,I didn't even asked you to explain or something."I said and he groaned because of irritation.

"You're also with Yuan that time.."bulong niya.

"Yeah,he wants to talk to me and i got bored on stayin at house alone so I didn't refuse to."

"Where's Xiana that time?"

"She's with her boyfriend."

"What did you two talk about??"I can see that he's really curious huh?

"Reasons...about past."mahina kong sagot. Maya-maya pa ay niyakap niya ako galing sa likod.

"You love me right?"bulong niya sa tenga ko.

"Ofcourse I do!"

"Don't leave me okay?"

"I won't.."ngumiti ako habang nakatanaw sa labas.

"Okay na tayo?"masiglang tanong niya at humiwalay ako sa yakap niya.

"No."biro ko.

"What?!why?? Wife please."he looks cute when he's acting like that.

"I'm just joking hubby."I smiled at him and his face enlightened pero bigla ding sumeryoso.

"You're being talkative hubby."I said:

"Then if being talkative will make you kiss me I won't stop talking starting right now."biro niya at hinampas ko naman siya sa braso niya.
